The room was damp and musty; the carpet was damp; our clothing was also damp. I suggested they get a dehumidifier; the reply was that the room doesn't get sun, so keep the AC set low. The Shower fixture was ancient. The breakfast was not much. It offered Muffins, bagels, oatmeal, cereal, juices, Coffee, tea, yogurt, apples, and a waffle maker. It was ok, you get what you pay for.

The property is in horrible condition. It needs a full renovation or tear down. The room and hallways smell old. The room was dirty with stains on the walls, lamps and spiders in the bathroom. The bathroom did not seem like it was cleaned at all. I wouldn’t walk around in the room without shoes on. The beds were fine but the rest was not. The front staff were super nice. I will be requesting a refund because I felt the room was uncomfortable.

TV and internet went out randomly during our multi-night stay. Roof leaks which causes hallway carpet to get wet which causes a funky smell. Handful of bugs in the room. Pool locked this week due to algae in the pool and water being green. Would be 1 star if not for the nice employees doing their best. Will not stay here again.

Tina wanted a half night's rate to check me in two hours early after telling me the room was ready. Shower was not clean as there was a bar of soap laying inside. Sheets on one bed stained. AC never cooled sufficiently. I'll pay double to stay at Marriott just because of Tina.

Room was clean but the toilet seat was broken and I did see a roach in the shower (yeah it's Florida). Noise between rooms was minimal and same with hallway and closing doors. Too bad the balcony was unusable. Breakfast was average (waffle maker, cereal, breads, coffee and juice). Tina checked me in upon arrival and out this morning. She was welcoming and had me headed to my room in less than 5 minutes.

No smoking, #1. And the #1 Lady behind the counter seemed to be there no matter what time of day/night I was in the lobby. always cheerfull; always helping. Then compared to other hotels the price was great.

The only reason I’d say poor instead of terrible is because I didn’t leave and go to a different hotel. If I was staying more than one night, I would’ve left. When I walked in, the lobby smelled like weed. Could’ve been someone checking in before me, I don’t know. But it was pretty strong. When I got to my room, I wish I still had the smell of weed in my nose rather than whatever odor was coming out of the carpet or AC unit. Water pressure in the shower was good which came in handy for washing the hair out of the tub from the previous guest. The bar Flanigan’s attached to the hotel was a pretty good spot. It had that typical old school coastal bar feel with friendly locals and a decent amount of tv’s.
