House stinks from people leaving their garbage in garage; garbage to be removed from house. However, they don’t tell you that you have to HAUL all the garbage down the enormous hill to bins that never leave road. We had to have an emergency fix of a broken bed (housekeeping made the bed in the broken state??? Door handle came off in our hand. House CANNOT BE SECURED DUE TO DOOR unable to lock. Man came to fix bed/door and didn’t bother bringing up bins. Patio space was filthy (same guy blew off). Toilet in master leaks leaks leaks. Requested fix; told NOT an emergency, wait until Monday—the day we leave. Sleep not important??Whole facility is overgrown with vegetation, including driveway scraping my new car every time up and down that hideously long and steep driveway. You find out only 3 vehicles are permitted in driveway, it’s sleeps 14 (2 beds are cushions on a floor-not beds FYI). We found a back entrance to property for extra cars. The house has vegetation growing from it. Master bedroom patio has dead birds, bugs and filth. Info about owners show family and Kate (rep) live in town. Woman (supposedly Kate) I spoke with has NEVER SEEN house and lives someone in Malaysia or other. House is not worth what they are asking. Area is pretty but maintenance is lacking and it could be cleaner. The bare minimum is maintained and price doesn’t warrant. I was given a refund for a portion of our stay from my complaining.
