Peaceful stay at Long Lake Therapy

Our family loved our stay at Long Lake Therapy. We enjoyed the quiet of the neighborhood and the large lot the house sits on. The inside was updated and very clean. We appreciated the communication from Joe & Kelsey. We would definitely recommend this property and would definitely return.

Wonderful property

Our family had a wonderful visit to Long Lake Therapy and Kelsey was a terrific host! We enjoyed the property and really loved sitting in the hot tub while watching the snow fall We took advantage of the BOGO wine tasting at Shady Lane Cellars and the welcome gift was a very nice surprise We would love to return in the summer to use the kayaks

Enjoyable Spring Family Getaway

We really enjoyed this property. The communication was great, and it was very clean. We traveled with young children including a 7 month old. You have a different perspective of cleanliness when young children are on the floor, and we approved. It’s very spacious, in an awesome location, and feels private. We would stay here again or at this hosts other properties. Thanks for having us!

Relaxing, snowy stay

We went as a family of 4, plus grandparents and the setup was perfect. Beds were comfortable and kitchen well stocked. It was handy to have a few extras like a mud tray for wet boots, plenty of towels in the bathrooms, extra blankets in each bedroom, and a garage to park in. We stayed in February and still got out for walks and local hikes, the setting is beautiful.Communication was quick and professional. We were a little disappointed that the fireplace and garbage disposal were not functional but quickly got a response that settled any concern about missing amenities (fireplace recently broken and being repaired and township did not allow garbage disposals).

Quiet Location for a Fall Outing

We had three nights in this home in a quiet area just up the street from Long Lake. Perks are use of the kayaks and stand up paddle boards, which only two of my family had time to use, and the outdoor firepit which we used two different nights. The house sit on a wooded lot with beautiful fall leaves. It's a just a short drive to Traverse City and we were happy to be outside the city limits a ways and didn't mind driving to the various sites we wanted to see. The house could use a few updates but it was clean, the beds were super comfortable, and it easily housed our 7 adults. The owner communicated quickly when I had a question and we certainly enjoyed the treats left for us on the kitchen counter.

Siblings Trip

Wonderful home as it feels like home. Full kitchen, close to water & beach. Great get away to meet up with family. We had alot of fun with so many things to do. Don't miss out on Sleeping Bear Dunes stop #9.

Great Place for Family Gathering

My brother, four sisters and I took our Dad to Long Lake to celebrate his 90th birthday. The place was great and perfect for a big family. The house was beautiful, extremely clean, and very well stocked. The host communicated well throughout the whole process and went above and beyond to make sure everything was good during our stay. I would highly recommend this vacation rental. We are all looking forward to renting it again to celebrate Dad’s 95th birthday. the wwent above and beyond

Fantastic Stay

Joe and Kelsey are probably the most thoughtful hosts we’ve stayed with. The house was well kept and had plenty of the little things that make a stay easy (fully furnished kitchen, coffee, plenty of paper products, kayaks, firewood, etc). It’s those little touches that make a trip extra relaxing. The property is in a great neighborhood that is extremely quiet. The communication during the stay was amazing as well. It’s always great to be checked in on during the stay incase something comes up. We can’t recommend this property enough. Thanks for the amazing long weekend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wonderful stay

The home is immaculate, beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything. Our only disappointment was that the house is not on Long Lake and bringing the kayaks to the lake was too much for us. Don’t plan on kayaking unless you want to haul it down the street, cross a busy street, and then wheel it down to the landing where you are allowed. Aside from that, our stay was perfect. Hot tub very clean, also.

Amazing Getaway

This is a wonderful property. Great location, easy walk to Long Lake and short drive into Traverse City. House had everything you could think of and the beds were very comfortable. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. Host was very communicative. I would stay here again.

house is in a beautiful neighborhood and very peaceful. Conveniently located to many attractions. Owners left special gifts from local establishments and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Definitely recommend.

Lots of things to do

One of our favorite things about our stay was the number of activities available. We paddle boarded, kayaked, went to the beach, had a bonfire, hot tubbed, and grilled out. Having all of these options made our trip!
