Thompson Lake Vacaciones

We loved staying at the Docent's Collection at 121 Middle Street. Great staff, great location and great studio. Bed was excellent and the bathroom was large with very nice shower. Loved staying there.

The hotel was ok but our room seemed to be one of the few still unrenovated ones. It was supposed to be a Deluxe room but it was far too small and uncomfortable to qualify as such. The old, outdated and small bathroom did not help improve the experience either. However, the worst part of our stay was the unfriendliness of the staff. Smiling and helpfulness are clearly not part of their profile. Location was good though, but I will choose another hotel in the area if I return.

The hotel is well located. It is quite minimalist in its decor, so it lacks basics like a makeup mirror, hair blower and shelfs for items in the bathroom. The room is spacey and with good taste furnishings. The bed is beyond confortable. Breakfast was very good although with a very limited menu. The personnel have good attitude and are very helpful. I would definitively stay there again.
