Staying at top of the hill is a great experience. Overall service was good but on the first night (Friday) service was pretty poor (long) at the bar and food at Eagle restaurant was not great. The lounge side restaurant on Saturday night was a lot better and service at restaurant and bar on Saturday night was much better.
I loved the stay, my 3 year old daughter cut her leg in the hot tub upon further inspection a lot of the tile was missing on the steps. We had our baggage sent up to our room from the bottom of the gondola and we were told 2 hour max wait it took 5 hours. The room was very small but comfortable for the three of us we woke up in the middle of the night and could barley breathe. I’m not sure why there was a humidifier in the room but realized we needed it the remainder of the stay. I was shocked to walk 15 mins to store my snowboard but did not use it for the fact my daughter was in shock from the hot tub and I was sick from the room or no hydration even though I drank 3 bottles of water. I wanted to upgrade to the loft suite but we decided to go home a few days early for our daughter
We got our room for 2 nights skiing holiday and it turned to become terrible expirience.
Otherwise hotel looked good, but when we get in to our room with nice view we realized that it was cold and outdated.
Only heating was small radiator so we turned that warmer ( all the way up to 30 degree ) but still after heating several hours room stayed cold.
With 4 star hotel I assume there would be AC unit so every guest could set temperature as they wish, but managements solution was small space heater ( table version ).
Room had a queen size bed, but it was too soft for 2 people to sleep in it without waking up everytime you turn. Also room didn´t have any fridge to keep your soda and water cool.
Restaurant and breakfast was good and ski hills were Ok condition.
Recommended to stay in town and travel for skiing. Thats best value for your money.
Check in at car park level was swift and easy; thank you Matt. Room was adequate. A bit dated, but its all about location location location and Sunshine Lodge has it sorted!
Staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate in the one of restaurants on two occasions. Food and service was excellent.
Definitely worth booking a stay in the ski resort. Prices are on par with Banff Town and the resaurant prices are surprisingly cheaper than Banff Town.
Would definitely stay here again.
We had a great stay! Nice to have the ski in and ski out convenience. The food was good at both restaurants. The service at eagle nest with Henry was particularly great. The hot tub and sauna was fantastic after a long ski day.
No microwaves, fridge or local shopping. To was super thin. People were great.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Inconvenient as far as site seeing is considered. We had to wait a long time to go up and down the mountain in the gondola. For summer /fall site seeing best to stay in town. Food selection at the cafe was not good especially for vegan/vegetarian. Rooms are tiny.
It was such a fun surprise! When I booked it, I didn’t research it at all, so to find out we had to take a 25 minute gondola ride up was so cool and beautiful!!
