lovely retreat

the place was so lovely and comfortable! the hosts were very kind when we had some trouble getting in at first (user error), and we had no troubles at all during our stay. The pool and hot tub are amazing, the house is so comfortable, and there is lots of hiking and other nature activities nearby. the sound of the creek is so soothing!

Great weekend getaway

We had a great weekend getaway. The property is wonderful, very clean and nicely renovated. The grounds are nice and tranquil and we enjoyed the hot tub after a long hike in Bear Mountain. The host was super responsive when we needed help. I would highly recommend it the home.

They thought of everything!

Beautiful property, with cozy linens in every room, incredibly well maintained property, and lovely views. The welcome book had clear instructions, there were great lawn games, lots of suggestions to eat too. The icing on the cake was the welcome basket, complete with Halloween treat bag for our little one!

Lovely stay at a thoughtfully appointed property

We were visiting a friend in Rockland County and were delighted to find this home for our stay.The home is sits on a great parcel of land with a spacious backyard and a natural creek. The entire property has been updated with lovely, clean, modern bathrooms and bedrooms - better than pictured. There are some personal touches that my kids loved - such as the mini foosball table and basketball. Additionally, there was a basket of food items laid out for us upon arrival which was really appreciated as we came late at night after a trip up from Manhattan and didn't have time to stop somewhere for basic provisions. It was so unexpected and so thoughtful to have some bananas, cereal and fruits already there! We did not use the pool or hot tub as we came in October, but they looked in good shape. We enjoyed the creek in the backyard and we used the laundry machines which worked well. Additionally, we ended up renting an electric vehicle and it was a super bonus that this home has a charging port! Check in was contactless with the property manager, and we had no issues. We would definitely stay here again as this exceeded all our needs and expectations. Thank you to the manager and compliments to the owners on a truly beautiful and well maintained home. We had a lovely stay!

Lovely property

This property was beautiful. Extremely clean! Everything you need is provided. The owners even left a personalized snack basket for us which was so sweet. Comfortable beds. Very clean bathrooms and kitchen. Just a lovely home with beautiful scenery everywhere you look! We will definitely be back.

Stony Point Fun

We had a great stay! Loved relaxing by the pool (which turned out to be a necessity in this heat!) and used the jacuzzi, too. Very well maintained pool and landscaping. Lots of outdoor seating/places to chill. Excellent communication with host. Thanks, Carlos!

Excellent get away location

Good location in small town near NYC with not a ton of traffic. Unfortunately we had planned on grilling while there and the provided grills were rusty and the propane tanks were empty. Other than that this was an excellent location and we had a great time!

Great outdoor spaces

This is an attractive, well-laid out house with an extremely accommodating owner. The home is pretty small—great for two or three with very little play area inside for kids—but there are several great outside areas on the deck, around the pool and stream. In terms of accessibility, three steps up to the doorway, a step down to the master bedroom and a step up to the ensuite master bath.

Natures Paradise

The property was well maintained and in very good condition. Pool and Hot Tub not used as it is/was December(looking to return in warmer weather). Grounds were in great shape, Deer, fox and many birds in the area. Whoever decides to rent will not be disappointed!

Little Piece of Heaven

We absolutely loved this place! The pool was fantastic, my husband loved that it was heated. The house was amazing - clean and up to date. We was lovely! We took walks down by the stream, saw the waterfalls and truly enjoyed everything that nature sent our way. Each morning we had the birds singing, during the day the deer stopped by for a visit and we can't forget the ducks! It really is a beautiful place. Thank you again for letting us stay at this little piece of heaven! We hope to come back for a longer visit next year!

Beautiful inside and out!

This is a lovely property and our second stay. The property description is very accurate. It’s a well-maintained, comfortable and really clean home set in a natural location complete with stream, pool and hot tub, lots of birds and nightly visits from deer. We absolutely love it and hope to return for a third stay soon!

Wooded escape from the city

My wife and I stayed at the house with our ~2.75 year-old, 7-month old and dog as a long weekend escape from the city. It was especially nice to have the woods and running stream on the property for our toddler to explore! The Host also pleasantly surprised us by completing the pool ahead of the trip, which turned out to be huge hit with the kids. We would look to go back to the house!

Beautiful Cottage!

We loved staying at this home. It is immaculate, extraordinarily well-stocked with towels, bathroom supplies, kitchen supplies, has lovely furnishings, beautiful kitchen and bathrooms situation on a scenic property with great big deck, hot tub, babbling brook and soon to be completed swimming pool. Just idyllic. Great location in close proximity to West Point, Garrison and Cold Spring!

A Hidden Gem!

We arrived late, passed the entrance and Carlos was quick to answer his phone and get us on track. Walking into the little, yet completely updated house was easy and the best welcome we've ever had at a VRBO. It's clean, modern and the special touches were everywhere; gift snack basket to welcome us, basket with hand sanitizer/mosquito repellent, bathrooms fully stocked, waters in the fridge, coffee supplied, paper products, etc. We were impressed with so many little details. I've stayed at others that don't supply anything! What a refreshing change!! We were here for a weekend at West Point Ring Weekend and also used the steamer in the closet! It was about 20 minutes for our drive to West Point and about the same for a drive to Woodbury Outlet shopping. We loved the patio furniture on the deck for morning coffee (Keurig and regular coffee pot with coffee included) and evening visiting. We even saw a buck in the morning in the yard! There was even a corn-hole set, however it was so hot we didn't play. But, we did shoot basketball in the driveway. This place was so great!!! Loved it!!
