The host was exceptional. They accommodated us with our planning issues in an understanding manor. The place was exceptionally clean and orderly, cozy, and very comfortable. The amenities were over and beyond taking care of every detail. We had a 12month walking toddler with us ,and we noticed a small dish with electrical socket protectors on the desk. Highly recommend this place in ‘The Hill’.

The host was very helpful and communicative regarding when the apartment would be ready. The apartment is super comfortable and homey, with two real bedrooms, comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen, and laundry in the kitchen. The parking lot was very easy and even the trash cans were in a well designed compartment. The neighborhood is so cute, with 3 cafes within 2 blocks, a gelato bar, deli and nice restaurants within 2-3 blocks. The doors were very secure and the locks straightforward to operate. We were easily able to climb the one flight of stairs to the apartment.

The location of this apartment could not possibly have been better. It was truly in the heart of The Hill. The view on the deck overlooking the piazza with the grand marble fountain put me in mind of Italy's thousands of lovely fountains. Otimo!

The kitchen was exactly what we needed and very clean, as was the entire apartment. We absolutely loved the location, close to everything and in the charming Hill neighborhood. The beds were comfortable. The decor was beautiful. The back deck overlooks the beautiful fountain across from St. Ambrose Church. We enjoyed our stay immensely!

This was the most magnificent rental I have ever stayed in, outside of the grand hotels of Europe, Asia, and North America. The place was beautiful and extremely well appointed. The location was heavenly. Everything was wonderful.

We just loved the apartment - location, cleanliness, attention to details - all was wonderful! The only caution for some might be the stairs up to the place but it was not big deal for us. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean. Washer and dryer was super convenient. The kitchen didn't get much use because of all the food options within easy walking distance but we sure enjoyed the Illy coffee!The area is bustling but not overly noisy. If there is a wedding or funeral St. Ambrose Cathedral area can get backed up as there are many narrow one way streets with parking on the sides so walking is the preferred way to get around during those times. We walked nearly everywhere except when we had to leave the area to see family. We had great conversations with shop owners and residents alike. We ate at at least 5 Italian restaurants and enjoyed each experience. Gian-Tony's is a personal favorite and he went above and beyond to give me a special treat I requested in advance. Gelato by the fountain is wonderful. Pizza da Gloria was great, Mamas was super good as was Charlie Gittos (fancier). We enjoyed the Antique Marketplace, DiGregorio's, Missouri Baking Company, Cafe Dolce, Volpi and many other places.

Amazing place and very clean. The location can not get any better. No matter which direction you walk when you exit the building there are great food options. The Piazza Imo view from the deck was absolutely beautiful day or night. The convenience factor alone is worth the stay. We just walked everywhere, no need to drive. We loved the friendly people and the feeling of being safe as we walked all over the Hill day and night. Thank you Debbie and Joe for the opportunity and it was nice meeting you both. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay while visiting our daughter at SLU. The apartment was clean, the kitchen was stocked and the deck overlooking the fountain was clearly my favorite. The location is walkable and ideal for visiting the shops, restaurants and little cafes in the neighborhood.

I wish I could describe how wonderful staying here was. The neighborhood is perfectly walkable and being above a gelato shop was a godsend. The hosts were so generous, accommodating, and helpful. I will 100% stay here again and refer family and friends. If you want the perfect place to wind down after a full day in the city, then this is it!
