Funky old house Close to the beach

It was as it seems. An out of date funky house. Master bedroom is down, other 2 bedrooms are up a spiral staircase. We brought our small dog. The house needs some maintenance and updating, but it functioned well. The old carpet was a little gross. The kitchen was adequate with supplies, minus a vegetable peeler. If you need to open a bottle of wine, you could do 8 at a time. I had one issue with the water heater not working. The phone went to a robo system with no place to leave a message and a 2 hour wait. I instead drove to the office which was closed do to Covid-19. They had 4 different phone numbers posted. I was able to leave a message on one. But had to again text them to FINALLY get a response. Once I did, it was repaired and no more cold showers. It was a tripped GFCI. The Vacasa site had very little check out instructions including TIME. So at 10:30 am the cleaning crew showed up and I was still there. oops. Maybe to many platforms to manage and communicate on. But we left about 11:00. It was my husband and I . our 3 teens and 2 teen friends.
