VRBO only allows 1500 characters so this isn't nearly as long as it needs to be.
When we arrived, the gate was closed and the code given to us did not work. We had to call the front desk and they gave us the correct code.
We enter the condo and at first everything seemed normal, until we went into a bathroom to find a pile of dirty towels on the floor, unflushed urine in the toilet, and dry urine all over the bowl. Same story in every bathroom.
Chatted online with a Vacasa rep who stated she would "put in a ticket to our local team" and asked if we would allow entry into the condo to finish cleaning that night. They never showed up.
We walked to the store to get some laundry detergent (none was provided) and returned to put the kids to bed. When we went to tuck them in, we noticed EVERY BED had crumbs in the sheets and stains on them! The beds WERE NOT WASHED but someone had made them with dirty sheets!
We kept the kids up an extra 90 minutes to wash their sheets. We also noticed the floors weren't swept/mopped and there was long black hairs everywhere. We spent the first evening cleaning the condo because Vacasa couldn't be bothered to do it themselves. Texted with Vacasa but received no offer of compensation.
Pool #2 is under construction and the noise during the day is loud, not mentioned on listing. All of the beach equipment in the unit is destroyed/unusable.
The unit is fine. Pool is heated and location is walking distance to food and mini golf.
AVOID VACASA!!!!
