I enjoy my twins birthday vacation but it was too dark traveling from the pool back to my room. I would love it if was lighted along the edge of the roads. I almost got into a car accident because someone came speeding towards us and it was so dark we could barely see the roads.

Loved our stay! Waterpark staff need work!!

We stayed March 1st, and had a very good experience. We live 3 hours away and drove up for the Pirate Cay Waterpark. That place is the reason for only 4 stars. The staff at checkin was friendly enough, efficient and had got us checked-in in a timely manner. The room was more than we expected. Their was a rowdy family couple doors down that you could hear in the hall way but once inside the room you didnt hear them. Could hear those walking the floor above us. Now the waterpark was the star deduction. The staff upon walking in looked unapproachable and werent the friendliest. The life guard staff should have been better! I have a 4 year old whos 3' 4", the one thing that they were a stickler about was my daughter wearing a life jacket on the water slides and while in my arms in the lazy river. Even though she was just as tall as other kids not wearing a jacket. Felt singled out. Why did she have to wear a jacket within my own arms? They also were not keeping order within the lazy river. Had people going the wrong way causing blockages, slashing, jumping in. It was ridiculous! Its a lazy river. Also while we were there, a little boy who was smaller than my daughter, was saved by another mother (not his) who was basically drowning due to the rowdyness of others and being so small without a parent present. Thats unacceptable! I was forced to put a lifejacket on my daughter who was in my arms but yet they let all this other crap slide. Ridiculous!

We had a great stay this weekend! Our room was clean, communication with the front desk staff was great, and there was a lot to do with the kids. We were pleasantly surprised with the water temps in the pool and water park- both were warm enough that the kids swam for hours! It’s a bit of a drive to any restaurant so we brought food to make in the room, which was fully stocked with all cooking needs. We will come back!

Great place for our family vacation. Large indoor pool and our older two (6 & 4) loved the waterpark. Our lodging had plenty of space and was super quiet. Downstairs neighbors had a holiday party late into the night and we barely heard them. Staff was friendly and responsive to our needs. The rooms need some upgrades. A burner on the stove did not work and the dishwasher had some issues. The biggest issues is a lack of pedestrian walking paths around the complex.

No hot water. Can’t believe I paid so much for a presidential suite in winter and the hot water heater worked sparingly for 4 days. My family was miserable. I called front desk, they sent maintenance but they could never figure it out. We had a very terrible stay due to the hot water situation. I won’t return
