Pro's & Con's:Pros: They have made attempts to update the property and offer some extra's you may not get in other cabins.Con's: The skinny dirt road with giant mud-puddles leading to cabin. Some parts have not yet been updated/cleaned, especially the deck, screens and exterior. Stains on worn carpet leading to the loft. Bare/unpainted wood on stairs leading downstairs. We checked in, the end of Dec to learn the HVAC-TStat wasn't working, only blowing AC, no heat. After a few hours we were able to shed our coats, thanks to some heat from the fire-place. The owner sent out a repair man - the next day (who rigged up a temporary t-stat) so the 1st night was cold, especially in the primary bedroom, and bathrooms with no heat or circulation. The owner (Nicole) then argued that she felt we should have been warm enough since her broken (and removed) nest T-Stat told her it was 71 deg. No apology or reimbursement happened. Never even received a follow-up message as she said would happen. A little concession would have gone a long way. She also could not be convinced that there was no toaster in the "fully stocked kitchen". Normally you wouldn't expect to pay full-price, if you don't get full accommodations (HVAC).
