"Power went out for the entire resort. There is no cell service up there, so the staff had 0 information for us. Shouldn't the staff have a radio or satalite phone for situations like this? We were all just sitting up there, disconnected from the real world for hours, with no way for anyone to reach out for help.
There was no food or anything. We decided to leave and go to Durango for the night as not eating anything since lunch and not having any options for food until the next day was not ideal.
When we asked the front desk about a refund as the place was inhabitable, they just said to call the next morning. Well, I did do that and was told they couldn't help me and I needed to email support. Still in the process on getting the refund.
Rooms were alright. Views were great! But it would have been nice if we could have stayed longer than 1 hour in our room before having to leave due to major power outtages"
