The property was very convenient for a stay in the park. We were able to make our tour times with no issue. The restaurant was good. The wifi was decent once we logged on in the lobby. However, there was an encounter with a mouse in the room during the night.

I love the National Parks, and so wish I could give this property a good rating. There were a couple of good things about our stay. One, we had a great dinner at the lodge restaurant. Two, it was very convenient to be able to stay in the park. However, our night’s stay was pretty awful—due to mice in our room. I spoke with another guest in the parking lot who also had a terrible night because of mice in their room. When I spoke to the front desk about it in the morning,, they weren’t apologetic at all—said yea, every National Park property has mice, squirrels or raccoons. What?? You should warn your guests to leave all food in their cars then, and work on getting rid ot the mice! It’s hard to beat the convenience ot staying in the park, but customers should know what they’re getting into!

The hotel was fine but the room is a little small with only a few hooks to hang clothes. We ended up staying only one of two nights. The staff was kind and helpful

The location is incredibly beautiful. The views are stunning The bar had decent cocktails and food reasonably priced The room was a decent size but a bit basic. The shower was leaking, the coffee maker temperamental. The balcony however, with the amazing views, very happy we stayed.

Sadly, the accommodations at Fairview Lodge have greatly deteriorated since my last visit 10 years ago. We did not get the deluxe Kiva, which we had reserved because it was closed for repairs. We were very disappointed, and the staff was kind and apologetic and also, gave us a discount. The beds were comfortable. Great cross breeze and ventilation with open windows. The towel bars are falling off the wall, and the faucets are also in need of being secured. There is no microwave but a small fridge and coffee pods. But being in Mesa Verde with the quiet, incredible beauty and unique surroundings, takes the edge off the disappointment in our accommodations! Expedia was negligent in contacting us about this change in our reservations.

We stayed here since it was the only hotel in the park and we wanted to have a longer park day. The room was clean and the view and balcony were great, but the noise was ridiculous. We could hear the people in the room next to us like they were in the room with us even when they were just talking at a normal volume. We realized this as soon as we walked in and asked if they could move us to a non-adjoining room or at least a room on the end but they couldn’t. The shower also didn’t have hot water for more than 30 seconds our first night there. We ate at the Far View Lounge one night and the service was incredibly slow, the food mediocre and overpriced.

Fabulous location right in the park! basic but comfortable room. The bathroom needed some updating. The only issue was in the next room there was a noisy rattling AC unit. We loved to see the wild horses right outside our room! The restaurant at the park was excellent! The service and food were Excellent!

The room was ok but when you walked in it needed vacuumed. Also, the bedding on the pullout couch was dirty. When I let the staff know, they came in and changed it right away. It says you have a TV but unless you have a log in for Apple TV, you aren't watching anything.

Pretty bad experience from the minute I arrived to the check in desk on. I've paid the entire stay in the moment I've made the reservation, but when the guy behind the desk gave me the keys, he told me that i needed to pay $190, and when i told him that everything was alrededor paid for he told me that that was what his end shows, and even after I was able to show him the receipts from my email I ended up paying $50 just because "that was what the system showed". Once in our room we ended up having the visit of mice during the night and the proof of it was the holes in the trash bags, besides the noises during the night, and, on top that, our room was not cleaned and one of the beds was full of hairs and when we came back for our second night of staying no one picked up our room, even though we left the room pretty early in the morning. The breakfast was not good either. On the positive side, the food in the restaurant was pretty good, the host and server in the restaurant at night were really nice, had a great attitude and they were playing games with my 2 y/o baby. They are the only reason i gave an extra star in my review. If one day I go back to Mesa Verde I won't stay in this place, that's a fact!!!!
