My husband and I wanted to like this hotel as the website decor was attractive. We had booked two nights for a family event and had paid up front. We were placed in a fourth floor corner room that was quiet but very run down. The room smelled musty, and felt dark. The desk chair had rips in the vinyl seat, the door of the bathroom was crushed on the bottom, the bathroom vent looked as it had never been cleaned, the curtains were ripped, and the bedside table had the acrylic center lifting away from the scratched wood base. We almost forfeited payment for our second night in order to move, but decided to stick it out. We would not have stayed a third night. When we checked out at 9 am, we stopped by the desk, gave them our room number, name and asked for a hard copy of our invoice, which we were given. At 1 pm, the front desk called us and asked us when we were checking out and if we needed to pay for another night. We were half-way across the state by then and I told the receptionist that we had personally spoken with the front desk upon leaving at 9 am. I was informed that, their "system was having issues," but issued no apology. Fortunately, we were not billed for the third night, nor did they keep the $100 damage deposit they collect upon check-in. I would not recommend this stay.
