This is our 5th year to stay in Watercolor. We are always excited to see the interior of the homes we have rented for the week, this time it was different. We were disappointed in the cleanliness of the floors, one of our guests socks were dirty on the bottom on the second day of arrival. The ice maker did not work properly, we were buying bags of ice. We grilled our 2nd evening there and the grill would not heat up past 250*, it took a very long time to gill the burgers/etc. We also did not have grilling tools. The sinks in the primary bathroom did not drain properly which isn't the best sight to see when washing your face, brushing your teeth. The shower in the primary bathroom did not drain very well either. The shower that one of our adult kids used in the bathroom near the kitchen had little water pressure. The furniture in the living area by the kitchen was dingy. The washing machine needs to be wiped out and try to remove the mold from the rubber seal. The bed bench in the bedroom by the wine cooler refrigerator had really bad stains on it, my daughter did not want to set her belongings on it. All this to say, I did share this list w/the rental home company. I did speak w/the maintenance man a couple of times and the owner & did receive a reimbursement for the cleaning fee of 746. However, the cleanliness/plumbing & other issues addressed during our family vacation, we would like to receive additional compensation and would appreciate your consideration.
