"Staff were courteous and helpful. Breakfast had a lot of yogurt, oatmeal, and bread options but no hot food except for pancake-maker. Convenient location right off the highway but not a peep heard in the room. Short walk to the pretty lake and a walking trail. Small pool and hot tub nice for relaxation at end of day."

"We enjoyed our stay and we WOULD choose the hotel again...but - When we got there we were told we couldn't check in until 5:00 pm because housekeeping was behind and truck just got there with clean sheets. That was a new one. Our room only had 2 hangers, when I tried to call for more, I couldn't get anyone to answer, I guess they were still folding sheets. I did find a housekeeping manager in the hall and asked for more - "this room has 6 so I can give you 2 of theirs" they most have a hanger shortage. It wasn't an issue for us but they do not do any housekeeping unless you request it during your visit. I only found this out after asking the front desk for a do not disturb door hanger, because again no one answered the phone. I did have another guest tell me when they do answer the phone you are talking to someone NOT at the property, if they can't answer you they transfer you to the property but that guest didn't get anyone to pick up either. The hotel and location worked great for us exploring Idaho Springs and surrounding areas, just a few different experiences that I will expect for future stays."
