The room was clean, but the bathroom was in need of a revamp. Lots of dead bugs on the walls and within the bathroom light cover that should really have been cleaned. Location was a rough 10 minute walk to the centre of Queenstown albeit quite hilly!

We booked for 3, but only two towels were provided. Reception was already closed so we couldn’t ask for an additional towel. Would have been great if they are particular with this service. The view was amazing. Location was great.

Wow, a huge warm room with incredible epic views. A short 20 min walk into town. Bus stop right outside that runs very regular. I'd definitely stay here again.

Our host Vicki and her team were delightful and very helpful. After checking in, Vicki grabbed an umbrella as it was raining and walked with me back to the car to help us get our luggage. It's the first accommodation ever that the host told us not to do the dishes.. "you're on holiday, you shouldn't have to do dishes, we'll give you clean crockery & cutlery each morning." Exceptional. Earnslaw Lodge is an older style hotel, but very clean and comfortable and well lit with big windows. The room and bathroom were very spacious and had everything we needed. Central Queenstown and all the touristy things is a 10 minute walk away, along with the botanical gardens, and with cafes along the way if you want to stop off for a drink or a meal as we did on a couple of occasions. And the best bit.. the view from our room across the lake was magnificent, and all could be taken in from our balcony with outdoor setting or through the big window in our room if we wanted to stay inside. I would love to stay there again and highly recommend Earnslaw Lodge to anyone visiting Queenstown. Thank you Vicki and team.

Just okay. For $200/ night I would Have thought there would be a bit more: ie: shampoo and conditioner. There was a hair dryer but no outlet in the bathroom. Weird. It was fine- just not excellent. Great location- 15 minute walk into the town center.
