Horrible! is best to describe our stay at this rental. The issues were many from the beginning: the apartment is not beachfront, but walking distance to the beach. This property is showing serious decay as it seems it has been maintained poorly. In addition, the host was nowhere to be found. When we complained about broken closet and screen doors, a maintenance person on site named Carlos showed up and told us " they do not address cosmetic issues and they will not place us in a better unit" We were baffled.If you keep the sliding doors open then mosquitos get it. We had no choice but to run fans and the AC 24/7 during the entire stay, which cost us almost 100 dollars in electricity charges for a 5 day stay-totally outrageous. We messaged Daniel, the manager a day prior to check out to see if it was possible to check out a bit later than 11am as we had a departure flight at 5pm and we got no reply until we were already vacating the apartment. It was also concerning that the bathroom showers have mold and the sewage breaths through the sink holes-totally gross! They also did not provide any basics such as hand and body soap in bathrooms. The only positive is that the beds are comfortable, but the bedding is dated and starting to disintegrate. Parking is easy and the security men are excellent, but overall our stay was very unpleasant.
