Terrible experience staying at this property. Fantastic view and location and kitchen was fairly well equipped. Otherwise, many issues: Plumbing problems, seal on toilet needed to be replaced and every flush resulted in water seeping all over the floor, kitchen sink had bad leak which seeped inside cupboard. We had to put a pot under there as it was a bad leak. No hot water in 2nd bathroom. Prop manager did not respond to our complaints about these issues for 2 days, they then fixed 2 of the problems, but still no hot water in bathroom.
The most serious issue was that our safe was broken and we could not lock it. The first day, they sent someone with a key for us to use, that was then locked in a lockbox in our room. We came home one day from being out all day and someone had come in, without notifying us, and removed our safe key. Our frantic calls and emails and Whatsapp messages were not answered until the next day. We were extremely we had been robbed. We had no money with us as everything was locked in the safe. When they brought the key back, they told us it was the Master key and they needed it for someone else. There was zero communication on this All of our valuables were still there thankfully.
Also we inquired as to whether there was luggage storage available as we had to check out at 10; they never responded and I had to send a second note to them. They do not offer this.
The staff onsite at the Torre Malibu were wonderful, but they cannot help or do anything for you if you are staying in one of Vacassa's suites.
The condo itself needs upgrades, it's fairly worn looking; there are no night tables or chest of drawers in the bedroom.
If the communication was better with the prop manager, we would not even mention the issues, but honestly it was the worst we have ever experienced. We would not use Vacassa again.
