Nice stylish unit, comfortable but a bit noisy

Overall a really nice unit, very clean and well equipped. Check-in was great and the building is very nice with two pool decks. Gym is smallish and the AC was never running, so workouts were a little tough. Noise is pretty substantial from clubs across the street, going until 4 a.m. or so. With doors closed and AC on, it was manageable at night. Adding a couple of cushioned chairs on the main terrace would help a lot. There's a high-top table/chairs, but it's not so comfortable for hanging out.

Beautiful condo in the Romantica!

I enjoyed my 7-night stay in this condo that is centrally located and in a secure and beautiful condo building. Communication with the management team was excellent and, when there was a problem with the living area TV, a technician arrived with a couple of hours to address the situation which was quickly repaired. Many excellent restaurants and bars are just steps away and the beach is no more than a 5 to 10 minute walk. There is some music noise at night from local clubs but the bedroom comes with a “sound machine” that blocks out the noise. I slept soundly every night. I’ll try to stay here again on my next trip to PV! Highly recommend.

This is the perfect location in terms of being close to restaurants and the beach. We were able to just step out and grab anything we wanted to eat. Everyone in the building is super friendly. The pools were never crowded. It was very hard to sleep at night when the apartment is surrounded by clubs. It is very loud and we even had the noise of loud people from the roof when we were trying to sleep right above the bedroom. They are kind enough to provide ear plugs which drowned out the noise a bit, but it's so loud that you can still hear the music even with the plugs. A major plus was having a fridge for filtered ice and water. There is round the clock security that are very attentive.

Perfect location

This was the perfect location. Close to restaurants and bars and short walk to the beach. There was a little noise at night due the bars but it was not unbearable. It wasn’t an issue with air conditioning and sound machine running at night. I will take a little noise for having such a great location. The unit was very clean and nice furnishings. Having a separate second full bathroom was a nice addition given that the other bathroom is attached and open to the bedroom. The pools and hot tubs were great. I also appreciated the fact that it was easy entry, no hassle from door staff and we were not required to wear wristbands. The staff were very friendly.

A Perfect Centrally Located Condo

A wonderful place to stay. Everything we wanted to do was a block or two away. The condo is very well equipped and has perfect peekaboo views. The rooftop pool and gym are great. More appropriate for people who don’t mind a bit of noise. There is long term construction directly across from the living room, and the nightclub music and noise goes late into the night most nights. However, if you are accustomed to city noise in general it is totally not a problem. We would stay here again with no hesitation.

Perfect in every way

This place had everything we needed. All staff was exceptional. Felt very safe and comfortable. Noise factor was a nonissue for us, it's downtown Puerto Vallarta we expected worse. We loved are stay and definitely will come back.

First Time In PVR

The property was nice in a great location. Easy to walk to most restaurants, shopping and bars. There was really only one thing that was HORRIBLE and that was the fact that we were located right above a bar that literally had music bumping till 6am every morning. When we checked in they provided ear plugs which I thought was due to the construction noise going on that I had read about on reviews of this property. However, I did not read anything about the loud music. It was so loud that it was like we were playing it in our own condo and we were located in the penthouse on the 7th floor.

Service was amazing! Property manager was available for all our needs. The nightlife noise (even on weeknights) can be a bit much if looking for peace and quiet, however, the property provided a wind machine in bedroom which was perfect to help muffle the city hustle and bustle :)

Clean modern apartment in Zona Romantica

We were thoroughly impressed with the property management for this vacation rental. The suite was as described and very clean. Check in process was seamless and Brianda did a great job describing everything to us when we arrived. Our only caution is that the suite is located in a very vibrant neighborhood where clubs and bars can often be noisy until 5am. Especially on weekends. If you want to be out and enjoying the nightlife, this is a great rental suite. If you want to stay in Zona Romantica and get a good night's sleep, this might not be the best option.

Perfect Location and Beautiful Apartment

Great partial views and the management company did a great job representing the apartment and helping us settle in the first day. We enjoyed having two balconies both with views and of course the view from the pool on the roof. This apartment couldn’t be in a better location. Every Romantic Zone restaurant and club seems to be a block or two away. That said, the clubs are very close. If you are a light sleeper or need a lot of quiet, you might appreciate a different location. For us it was perfect!

Loud at night

Advertisement says loud on weekends....its loud every night until about 3am..so loud it's hard to sleep even with TV on. I would not rent this unit again. Any facing the east are bad in my book

Great Place

I enjoyed staying at Pavilion 701. I have stayed at many places in Old Town over the last 10 years plus. Pavilion 701 roof top meets the same as all other newer condos in Old Town, very nice. Condo 701 is clean and beautiful. I would consider staying at Pavilion 701 again but only for a 14 days or less. For a longer stay the internet would need to improve and cable would have to be added for the TV. As of now there is no local channels, NBC, ABC, CBS etc. . . . The recommendation that I have is to install cable to the TV so it is easier to use. Apps are not easy to use and if no subscription to the app they are useless mostly. I my just not be in the know, maybe a detail instruction sheet would be helpful. An improved internet service would help in less buffering and/or dropping of connection, which happen often. This was the most frustrating part of the trip.

The condo was excellent. The pools on the 5th and 8th floors were nice to swim in and lounge around. The view from the roof pool is relaxing. Close to any action that you would want in Puerto Vallarta including the beach and bar scene. If you are going here for a quiet getaway, then this is probably not it as the neighborhood parties thru the night. If you don't mind that , then this is your place to be!
