1 Bedroom Condo at the Grand Venetian. Patio is one of the largest in the complex, includes dish washer, washer, dryer, 60" TV, iMac, Netflix and Amazon TV with Fire TV and Video Games, 3 pools, Movie Theater, Billard Room, Gym, Beach access, Snack Bar, Child play area, Tennis. The complex is at the North End of the Hotel Zone and is walking distance to downtown. There is a La Isla mall being built right outside of the complex, which will be the highest end mall in PV. Scheduled completion is Summer 2016.
The condo is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a coffee maker, and a phone. Limited housekeeping is available.

Thoroughly delightful

Property was as described, lots of extras (food, etc.) in place, and Owner always responsive to needs. Except for the noise that passes for music across the way - mostly on weekends and stopping around 9:00 PM - couldn't be better.

Great Month , Well Furnished Accommodations but .........

This unit of Darwin's is without a doubt the best equipped condo we have experienced in PVR. The King sized bed is roomy & very comfortable , I have a bad back & really appreciated this unit. The kitchen was without a doubt top of the line. Surplus of cook wear & tupperware , previous occupants , including ourselves have left a variety of spices for future visitors . Large wall mounted TV & numerous English stations. Netflix available if you have membership. Shopping available in walking distance ( three blocks on foot or taxi to Costco). Large shopping mall right next door to Grand Venetian , restaurants, clothing , etc. On site restaurant at second tower, good food responsible prices & poolside service. Pools are well kept but if you want a lounge chair poolside get down early. Security exit to public beach , don't forget your id bracelet at all times or you will requested to return to your room to obtain and wear. Several pools family friendly, several hot tubs as well . Now for the " But " ! Tower 3 adjoins the public beach entrance & parking lot. Also, there is a bar on left side of river adjoining Tower 3 . The food is reportedly good , never tried & features nightly music. Usually close down by 10 pm. The Bad news for " All " in the vicinity is a new bar has been built on the far side of the river & has become a source of irritation for everyone in the immediate area. Only operate Three days a week with a steady high level of Rap , some sound tracks not " Family Appropriate". Due to noise level & content , you usually closed your balcony doors . This new issue of two weeks is being addressed by condo owners with management of bar. Hopefully to be resolved in near Future. Suggestion , take along a smoke detector, buildings have no sprinklers or detectors or alarms.We were there in Dec 2018 & fire are 18th floor occured & many unaware till later in day. As these buildings are solid concrete there is little possibility of fire spreading but smoke could be a problem. Sunset View of Ocean & Arrival & Departure of Cruise ships are awesome. Watch for & recommend Pirate Ship dinner. Darwin's unit is comfortable and barring the noise situation , hopefully soon resolved , we recommend it .

Best Vacation ever

We stayed two months at Darwin’s condo. From day one to the end of the stay, it was awesome. We had everything we needed plus a lot more, we stayed at multiple condos, in Hawaii and Mexico in the past , but this was very special - a great view, the balcony wa ideal for dinners watching beautiful sunset . The condo is located near shopping mall., food store, Wall mart and Costco, and more. The management team was always available and helpful. First class personal and top security. We will eventually going back to Puerto Vallarta in the future, Will contact Darwin again The Grand Venetian is an excellent place to spend the winter. Peggy and Michael Venne Vancouver Canada

Great break from winter

The complex is first class, well maintained, secure and staff are great. Darwin's condo is well equipped and comfortable. The large balcony is ideal for relaxing, eating outdoors and watching beautiful sunsets. Loved walking the beach in either direction every morning. The only drawback is the parking lot and bar/restaurant adjacent to the tower. Experienced a motorcycle rally one weekend followed by a week of Easter celebrations.

Great Complex

We just returned from a 2 month stay in Darwin's unit. We were very impressed with the condo, the complex, the amenities - and most of all the spectacular view. It is the best or one of the best complexes on the oceanfront. It is also very handy to grocery shopping outlets and great restaurants. The patio and patio furniture were ideal to view the ocean, watch for whales, cruise ships, sail boats and tour boats. Sunset views were particularly beautiful. The grounds and pools were impeccably maintained. Staff within the building and on the grounds were very obliging and pleasant. The condo has a nice floor plan and is well equipped for making meals. The position of the balcony was such that we did not get the sun during the day, allowing the unit to remain fairly comfortable without having to run the air conditioning. We appreciated leaving the patio doors open during the day and most nights. We were very pleased with all aspects of our stay. We did have some problems with the internet, but that got resolved satisfactorily in order to provide for WiFi and use of the phone. Darwin was very prompt and most helpful with any questions or concerns we had. Some people may find sounds from the neighboring restaurant and parking lot a bit disturbing, but this is something the owner and the Grand Venetian complex have no control over. Overall, we were very pleased. This condo and Grand Venetian complex provide for a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Thank you very much Darwin. Wally and Rena

Great Condo

This is a great condo with a large balcony right on the beach. The complex is beautifully landscaped with four pools. The staff were exceptional and always there to assist. The condo has everything you need to feel like home. Didn't want to leave. The month we were there flew by. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Enjoyable Stay

We have just returned from a 4 week stay in Darwin's lovely condo. The unit is well equipped and comfortable. We really enjoyed spending time on the large shaded balcony. Darwin was very responsive to all of our questions and dealt with our few concerns quickly throughout the whole rental process. The condo complex itself is modern, clean and well secured. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Why 4 stars? During our stay 3 out of the 5 pools were closed for maintenance for the first 2 weeks. It was nice to have Netflix however the only other channels available on the Roku were US news. We do suggest that an information package on the condo and area be made availble for future renters. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Nice place to stay!

Beautiful condo, everything is as you see it in the photos. Well stocked kitchen, with every gadget you may need to cook your favorite meal and enjoy on the balcony, overlooking the bay. Plenty of towels and pool towels. The condo is equipped with washer and dryer, which is definitely a plus. The owner was quick in responding to any queries we had. We did have a few areas of concern, the condo Wifi was non-existent, which made the free local calls to Canada impossible and the TV only played a few stations. We relied on the included Wifi, as my husband had work to do. After two attempts at repairing the existing Wifi, arrangements were made with a local provider, who installed a separate modem. This resolved our internet issues and also, we now had more TV stations. However, we did not get phone service. When we left, the owner was working on having the issues resolved.

Great complex in Hotel zone

Even though we have friends who live in this complex full-time this was our first time ever to stay there. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Darwin's property management team were very attentive and took care of our every need. This was not your usual stay as we were here for six weeks. When it came time to leave it was not easy. We loved the view we loved the outside patio and its lounging sofa and above all the pools at the Venetian as well as the restaurant and all of the friendly and helpful staff. Oh yes the king size bed was very comfy too. One of our highlights was getting to release baby turtles who's nesting grounds are just next-door. It's something that one must do at least once in their lifetime. We also used the Grand Venetian's theater room on several occasions to have friends over to watch movies. It's a very nice air-conditioned spacious room with huge theater seats for all to enjoy.
