A Honest Love Letter (With a Few Asterisks)We loved this place — but we wished someone had written this review before we arrived, so here we are, paying it forward.The Good Stuff FirstThe balcony gate that opens directly to the pool? Chef’s kiss. We went from horizontal on the couch to floating in the pool in under 60 seconds. No “getting ready.” No key cards. The sunsets from that pool deck are genuinely stunning, and the view from the living room didn’t disappoint either.The kitchen is fully stocked — we cooked almost every meal we bought without hunting for a single missing tool. The secondary entrance is a quiet gem; didn’t need it for our trip, but if you’re coming with another couple, that’s a real perk.The property comes loaded with beach towels — more than you’d expect, and genuinely appreciated.The security guards were consistently friendly and helpful, and the host was quick to respond to a message when we had a question — both appreciated more than you might expect.The laundry works great — just run an empty cycle first to clear out any standing water, and grab some fragrant fabric softener while you’re at the store.Things Nobody Told Us (But Should Have)The beach umbrellas. There’s a designated area on the beach for guests, marked with a sign, with straw palapa umbrellas reserved just for you. You can bring your own food and drinks. Do NOT sleep on this. Seriously.
