Perfect Location

The property is right on the water. An hour and 15 minutes from the Seattle-Tacoma Airport and an hour and a half from Hurricane Ridge in Olympic National Park. The property owner lives within sight of the property so if you need anything she is right there. There are two bald eagles that sit at the end of the dock each night and watch the sunset together. We saw a sea lion that was just as curious about us and we were about him. Super comfy beds. It’s located within a fenced in private boat club. If you are lucky enough to stay during the 4th of July, you will be able to watch fireworks up and down the Hood Canal. There was even a 4th of July party on the property with the most amazing people. Highly recommend this property for your family!

Cute, quiet and incredible views and sunsets

Very cute cottage, clean and well maintained. Loved that it was in a semi-secluded location and very private and quiet. Hosts were welcoming in their texted communication with me. Location for me was perfect as we were there for a family wedding and it was less than 2 minutes away from the venue. Amazing views, sunsets and the bird watching was incredible.

What a beautiful little spot. Kitchen was perfect. So much wildlife. Only issue the pull out bed was extremely rough and there were no extra linens/pillows to use. Otherwise perfect.

Thanksgiving visit

This is out third time renting this property. We love it here, it is our home away from home. The house is very cozy and always clean. The kitchen has everything needed to cook. The views are amazing. Karol is a great host and replies quickly to any questions we have. We will be back!

Healing environment

There aren't enough good things to say about this lovely place. I found the beauty of nature and the ocean so calming. I was impressed with Karl's quick responses and interest in my stay being as good as it could be. I will definitely visit again.

Comfort on Hood Canal

My wife and I stayed for three nights in early June. The cottage was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished with everything we needed. Expansive views of the Olympic range were enjoyed, sea otters fed on the changing tide. We always cook our meals so finding a very well equipped kitchen was great. There was more than enough room for the two of us but the cottage could comfortably acommodate four.

Washington Fun

We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and the scenery of the water. I do experience slight limiting mobility and the house was perfect as just 2 small steps to enter house also walk in shower. This really is a wonderful place.

Peaceful setting

Wonderful views of Hood Canal from this cozy historic property. Easy access to amenities & the wedding venue. Loved watching the seals every night, they are surprisingly noisy! Host provides everything you need for a relaxing vacation.

Beautiful view and location

Lovely, clean cabin with a wonderful view of water and mountains. Easy access to a cute little beach and just a short walk to the nearby state park. We enjoyed our relaxing stay and would definitely recommend it.

Nice place for down time

We chose this place because it was a good jump-off location for the things we wanted to do in North Kitsap and Jefferson County. Modest and clean, the kitchen is well-appointed with utensils and appliances, with laundry onsite. All on one level. For the mobility-challenged, there are only 3-4 steps to climb to enter the house. The deck out back is easily accessible. Nice place to kick back and do a little bird and Canal watching. Restful. Thanks Karl!

Thanksgiving 2022

My wife and I drove from Oklahoma to visit our daughter and grandkids for the holiday. The property had everything we needed and then some. The communication was stellar and very helpful. We will certainly stay here again on our next trip out.
