Perfect Beach Stay !

Great House ! Perfect location , very short, easy walk to the beach . House was clean , kitchen had everything you would need for cooking .(except the food ) All the beach essentials you need : wagon, chairs, beach towels , umbrella, and some beach toys . Great communications with reality . We have stayed here the last two spring breaks, will be back !

Great relaxing stay!

Our whole family stayed for thanksgiving and had a great time! There was plenty of room for six adults, two toddlers, and two young kids to have fun and enjoy the house. The house was stocked and decorated well. Being so close to the beach was also a huge plus. Communication with the host was easy and always pleasant. Love it!

A month in Mexico Beach

Had all necessities plus some. Management was easy to contact and fast response time. House was clean upon arrival, well stocked and comfortably decorated. Listing does not mention house under construction in lot directly beside house. Therefore ocean view was obstructed and did not have any view of sunset from house or deck. Also construction noise. Listing could use updated photos of these changes. Did find elevator to be inconveient to travel between floors. Either had to use elevator or outdoor steps. Overall enjoyed the experience. decorstedobstructed oceview along with construction noise.

Relaxing by the ocean

Property was clean and spacious. Decorated beautifully. Just the right size to have your own space. Close to the beach and could see ocean from house. Sunsets were gorgeous. Not commercial area which was refreshing. Grandson wanted to see the ocean. He had a blast.

Someone Not checking on the Property...

Beautiful Home & Décor though there were some problems. the stairs are on the outside no internal stairs, the Elevator exterior door handle is a odd twist that is barely assessable from the inside of the Elevator and multiple times a family member couldn't open the door from the inside, or both doors had to be closed to "call" the elevator to a floor and when the downstairs entrance door Deadbolt malfunctioned my family could not get in or to the second floor. (If you lift the door handle the Electronic lock would lock and unlock but you had to lift on the handle) The bath towel's were less than Quality and some had dirt or makeup on them, my Mother said hers were "So Thin and had Holes" The shower curtain rod in the hall bath was hanging on an angle and the bath Threshold was split/broken and if you step on your barefoot was pierced by a finishing nail... mine was twice. The Threshold in the kitchen was loose and just pushed in place. There was a pillow on the couch with a split Zipper, the Air Conditioners need serviced, the Sun Room A/C was so musky we kept the door shut and could not use the room, the top floor A/C was musky but not as bad as the sunroom, the ground floor seemed ok. We used our own Beach Towels as we couldn't find any in the house. So the House and Décor were beautiful, the amenities needed to be fixed/repaired and the Towels definitely needed to be replaced. The amount of Money we spent on a two night stay... None of these problems should exist.

Perfect location to beach!!

The location for this stay is everything!!!! Only two things to make sure you know is 1. the only set of stairs to reach main level and bottom level is outside and 2. there is a new build going up in front of the house so ocean view is partial. Walk to the beach is 30 seconds and the main level is awesome!!

Lovely Getaway

We came down here from Oklahoma (around a 14 hr drive) for the week. Between my family and my sister's group, there was a total of 9 people. There was plenty of room for all of us! The beach was a literal minute walk from the house and it was so convenient! We could come and go as we pleased. The supplied beach umbrella, chairs, and wagon were lifesavers! We all agreed we definitely want to come back to the Salty Pelican! ☺️

Lovely home - construction noise!

The home was wonderful! Newly renovated and everything you would need to cook at home. The only downside was that the property we rented was not the view that was posted on Vrbo. They are building a new home on the property just in front of this home and they started working at 6:00 am. If you have small children you will be ok with this but we are older and hoped to sleep in on vacation. The construction crew were so nice and friendly but feel like they should update the picture that you are going to encounter.

Relaxing and Quiet

Brought my 88 year old mother and my daughter and her family (7 of usin all) plus our little 3lb chihuahua. The accommodations were perfect. We loved our stay. The elevator made my mom's stay so easy and the Florida room was a plus. We do want to stay again. Loved it.

The Salty Pelican

Had a terrific stay. Very nice, clean, well maintained house. Beach access right across the street and everything you need to enjoy the beach provided. Located pretty centrally to Panama City and Port St Joe. Another nice feature my husband mentioned was no pests of any kind! Definitely recommend!!

Great Vacation Home!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Salty Pelican! The home was very clean, provided beach towels/chairs, great views from the master bedroom, 4 season room and the patio! A very short walk to the beach. Enjoyed dinner at Mango Marley's, The White Marlin and played a lot of pickleball. We would definitely stay at this beautiful home again!

Weekend with grandbabies

We enjoyed our stay at Salty Pelican. Only thing to note is that there is a house being build in front of the house that faces the ocean. There are two lots in front of the house and a house is being built on the right lot. So your view on the outside deck and part of the sunroom will be blocked.

Great stay !

Awesome clean house, great view, and easy walk to beach . House has everything you need for the beach:beach wagon, chairs,umbrellas, toys,and towels . All you need is your food , kitchen was well stock with great supply of pots,pans,and utensils. Enjoyed our stay with family with plenty of room .

Birthday beach trip

Unfortunately the weather wasn’t the greatest, but our stay was still nice & comfortable. We did have issues with the key pad locking, but Brittany was very helpful to remedy the problem. The house was clean & we particularly enjoyed the Florida room with a great view.

We enjoyed our stay!! The elevator was so helpful for those of us that pack multiple bags! 😆 The kitchen has everything you need to make meals, plus some. There is plenty of room and the view is incredible!!

Winter getaway

This was our first trip to the forgotten coast this past January, 2024. We spent one month there and we now understand why people return year after year. The house was beautiful as advertised, with fantastic ocean views. We hated to leave but we will definitely be back!
