Cute house with LOTS of bedrooms

Great house for a group stay. Lots of bedroom space, well stocked kitchen, and in the remodel they maintained a lot of the "classic Pittsburgh" look. Host very responsive to asks. Would come back!

Grad party

This rental was needed to attend family grad party in the area. The house was withing walking to restaurants it was close to supermarket and easy to get in and out. The garage is tight to get in and out so if you have a big car you will need to park on the street. We have a Equinox and the garage was fine. This is an old home in the Pittsburgh and it has character. The home is clean. The floors do squeak but that is part of the character.

Great House for a family visit

House is really well done and decorated nicely. We parked on the street but never had an issue finding a spot. Note that the wood floors can be a bit creaky (especially on the stairs), so if you are a light sleeper or have children who take naps, you may want to consider bringing a noise machine.

Nice getaway

We enjoyed our stay very much. Bridgette and Mary kept in contact with us and made sure we had everything we needed! House was spacious and clean, and in a convenient area. Would definitely stay here again next time we are in the area!!

Outstanding for families and Pittsburgh access

I can't say enough about this property and how well it suited our needs. The entire interior is updated and was immaculately clean upon our arrival. Some additional attention to detail like chocolates in the bedrooms and flower-petal tissue tops were also a nice touch! The rooms on the top floor each have their own heating/cooling unit and came in very handy. All four bedrooms were comfortable and with those along with two full bathrooms we slept 7 comfortably (we could have easily had 8). There's also an elevated back porch/deck area complete with evening lights. We travel with 3 small, non-shedding dogs and were extremely appreciative of being able to bring them along. We found the surrounding neighborhood to be pretty quiet and low key. There are eateries in downtown Verona that are a very short walk away, and many more in downtown Oakmont if you're willing to walk 10-15 minutes or so which we were (and if not, all of that is literally a 5 minute or less drive). This could not have been a better location for us overall. We have family 15 minutes away to the north but also spent time in downtown Pittsburgh which is 15-20 minutes to the south. We will absolutely be looking to stay here again for future visits!

Robin's Nest is a GEM!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this lovely house. It checked off our MUST boxes, plus a lot more. This house was CLEAN. Everywhere. Even in the closets. The neighborhood seemed very SAFE. Kids played outside with parents watching, people sat on their porches, surrounding homes were well-kept. The house was LARGE and accommodated all 6 of us. It could easily accommodate more. There are 4 bedrooms - 2 on the 2nd floor and 2 on the 3rd floor. There are 2 full bathrooms - 1 on the 1st floor and 1 on the 2nd floor. The house was beautifully decorated. The kitchen was nicely stocked with essentials. Bathrooms had clean, soft, large towels and washcloths and plenty of quality toilet tissue. There is a nice front porch to sit on and a seating area out back. There were extra rooms we did not get to use during our busy weekend stay - the gym, the reading room, or the laundry. Communication was EXCELLENT! Also, first rental that I didn't struggle to remember the lock passcode - clever! The only difficulty was for our oldest family member who would have preferred less steps to get to her bedroom on the 2nd floor. There are a few steps to the front porch, and a few more if you use the kitchen door. Something to consider if you are traveling with someone with a mobility challenge. The description is clear about this so no one should be surprised. We just loved this beautiful home and will definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

Enjoyed our New Years Stay at the Robin’s Nest

Thanks to Brigette & Mary for our wonderful stay in Pittsburgh at the Robin’s Nest. They exceeded our expectations from checkin in to check out. I can’t say enough about the effortless check in, check out, decor and cleanliness! When I’m back visiting family in Pittsburgh I know where I’ll be staying.
