Great location, could use some work
A plastic piece from the top sprayer of dishwasher was broken off and melted to the bottom heating element. Because of this we found dirty dishes on the shelf when we arrived. Spent the week doing dishes for 10 by hand. Were provided 1 dish towel a small amount of dish soap so had to purchase our own supplies. There was also no stopper to plug the sink to wash dishes.Grill didn’t work well. Ran out of gas trying to heat the food. Upstairs shower leaks into basement bathroom. Found water running out of the bathroom into the basement bedroom for 2 days before figured out what was happening. Because of this obvious reoccurring problem there was mold and water stains on the ceiling, floor boards and doors of the basement bathroom. Also be aware that if staying with a large group, if you don’t space out showering, the water will back up in the basement bathroom.Other things that could use attention…the water line for the fridge ice maker had a slow leak at the front of the refrigerator. There was a large crack in the right side glass stove top that made it difficult to heat food. Oven hood has a loud rattle. Basement bedroom light does not turn on. If you plan to eat in be prepared to purchase your own supplies. Kitchen supplies were basic. We also purchased tissues and more TP as there was 1 roll/bathroom. Loved the location and property could be great if a little bit of time is put into fixing a few issues.
