Family vacation in Perdido Key

Our family of 6 enjoyed our 4 days in Perdido Key. The Lost Key property was nice and perfect for our needs and comfort. The pools and private beach area were great. Would definitely come back.

Family getaway

We loved the property! It is close enough to walk to the beach. Beautifully decorated. My son and grandson took advantage of riding the bikes to the gym. It’s a very quiet and safe neighborhood. We had a wonderful stay!

Family trip

Nice house with enough parking for two suv. Its 3 stories so there's a flight of stairs from the garage up to the living/ kitchen area and another flight up to the bedrooms. The stairs are the only bad thing about this property.

Great Escape!

We enjoyed our stay at Lost Key! This unit was in the perfect location. A short walk to the beach, pool, or fitness center. This unit was clean and had all the amenities of home which makes it easy to pack for a one week vacation. We would love to return to this unit in the future!

Beautiful townhome, convenient location

The condo was very clean and no maintenance issues. It is only a .5 mi walk to get to the water’s edge so if the shuttle is slow, it’s a quick walk. The only thing missing was a large skillet, but guessing they probably had one that someone ripped off. The beach cart was a tall/deep toy/towel cart. It was not really workable for a cooler or chairs so bring your own wagon. They have a blender, waffle iron and crockpot that were not listed.

Wonderful Stay in our Lost Key property in Perdido Key

We enjoyed our stay at the Lost Key property. Loved the location,easy access to the beach, the shuttle to and from the property to the beach. The house was clean and comfortable. Very well stocked with everything you need including bikes, beach chairs, beach cart and toys. Easy to book and great communication with the property management. We can’t wait to book this house again soon.

Perfect beach getaway for family

New, clean, spacious townhouse. Had all that was needed for a week beach getaway with family. Much enjoyed and appreciated beach chairs and other items for use at the beach. The fine for loss of key cards and bracelets are excessive and would agree with previous review about it making it mildly anxiety producing. Additional parking at the pool/fitness area would be nice and necessary soon as it appears the resort is growing.

Lovely Property

The townhome was so nice, and Lost Key has great amenities including the Beach Club, large pool, tennis courts, golf, etc. This was our second time to visit Lost Key and we love it! Communication with the property manager was excellent. We would rent this home again.

Things to know about this property....

Pros: Place was clean and well organized. Had lots of family activities on the rainy days. Beds are very comfortable in most rooms. The porch is a great place to sit and enjoy the afternoons and while it was raining. Onsite gym is nice with good equipment. Pools are nice with lots of space to sit around. Cons: The beach is a pretty good hike to get there to and from. About 10 minutes or longer depends on what you are taking with you. There is no golf cart or vehicle parking on the beach side of the street. Be careful if you get a golf cart the police make sure no carts go across the street. We did see several carts getting pulled over. The larger pool is at the back of the development and the parking is fairly small. We found it best to walk or ride the bikes. If you have issues doing stairs this place will be tuff for you. There is a list of rules that are pretty strict for this rental. We did find it a little nerve recking being there was so many. We are use to staying at VRBO and always abide by the rules but this one seemed a little much. Most things if you didn't do or lost something it was a $50-$100 charge. May be a scare tactic but it seems to work! Overall was not a bad stay but will look at something different for our next beach vacation.

Vacay Get Away

Great location with easy access to the beach. This unit is in building closest to the beach. Beach Club bar, restaurant and pool is spectacular. This unit is very well maintained, decorated and stocked. The only thing missing is a blender. Recommend!

Lost Key is Amazing!

We loved staying at this townhouse for vacation. Townhouse was very nice, super clean, and nicely furnished with all the essentials we needed. Plenty of space for 6 people. Plus the games were a great addition for family game times. Short walk to the beach so you didn’t have to take the shuttle bus. We would definitely book again next year! The resort is relaxing and quieter than some of these busy condo buildings.

Nice condo

This house is very beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. We had plenty of space, supplies for cooking and games to keep us entertained. We also enjoyed spending time on the screened in porch. We found that the condo amenities didn’t add much value to our stay. The pools were both too cold to swim in, the hot tub was closed during our stay, our kid’s preferred the beach at the National Seashore (about a mile away) which provided us with less people and more space to roam. The condo is off the beaten path of Orange Beach and Gulf Shores but close enough to give there to enjoy the attractions.
