PCB beach bums

Super cute room, perfect for couples. Location was great with Sharky’s and Senor Frogs across the street and Diego’s and Shuckums less than a 1/4 mile away. Beach access is awesome with jet skis and banana boats basically onsite and Sharky’s tiki bar close by should you want a cocktail. The hotel store was unfortunately not open, which was a disappointment because we was counting on the Starbucks each morning.

Needs Improvement

For the most part, our stay was satisfactory. There are some things that needs to be improved. The cabinet tops in the kitchenette needs to be cleaned more thoroughly. My wife touched it and it felt very grimy. The WiFi needs to be upgraded to a password protected secured network. With the prevalence of identity theft, a secured WiFi network should be a standard amenity. The Roku streaming service leaves a lot to be desired. Not being able to watch the live national network news programs, or ESPN instead of the streaming news & sports programs was an inconvenience. Finally the mattress needs to be replaced. It has the consistency of a cheap water bed. Fortunately, I spent the majority of my time at the Seabreeze Jazz Festival which required me to be out of the room from 9:30am until 10:30pm. Finding parking upon coming back to the complex at night was a challenge. On a positive note the bathroom was exceptional.

Nice and Comfortable

This condo is exactly as described. There is plenty of room to spread out and make yourself comfortable. Nice big bathroom. The view from the balcony is gorgeous. The communication from the host was excellent. She answered all my questions before check in and checked on us to make sure we had everything once we checked in. I would definitely stay here again.

Great stay

We love staying at the Origin. Great location! The room and views were amazing! Yulia was great and answered any questions I had. Loved the thoughtfulness of supplies the host kept “just incase”. The only issues we encountered were; not having a washer/dryer in the actual unit and not being able to control the air being any cooler than 70, so we got really hot at night. Definitely would bring a fan for another stay.

Great Place- Awesome Service!

Loved the responsiveness of the owner/property manager! Condo was well furnished, including little snacks to hold you over in case you forgot something. Bed was super comfy and the view from the balcony was beautiful. Convenient location to Sharkys (highly overrated restaurant and ridiculously priced)... and a short walking distance to a great little breakfast place on the beach and to Shuckems, which was an amazing restaurant with nightly karaoke. My only complaints were with the resort itself. I've never stayed in a place that actually enforced the rules regarding time constraints in the pool or hot tub area. We watched from our balcony nightly as security cleared the pool and hot tub at 10 pm on the dot, despite the fact no one was being disrespectful or loud. You were also not allowed to have alcohol (apparently of any kind, despite it being in a can/cup instead of bottle) in that area. So, we never made it down there at all, which was a bit of a disappointment. Fortunately, it was beautiful weather and the beach is across the street with easy access and no rules of the sort. The resort was also ridiculously strict on parking, so be mindful and take note. They give you two passes: one for garage parking and one for open area parking. (Personally, if you are staying at the resort, why can't one pass cover all parking affiliated with the resort?) We ended up with a warning on our windshield because we had the wrong pass hung from the mirror when we were unable to find a spot in the garage and forgot to change to the correct pass. Overall, we would stay there again simply because our host was amazing and attentive and the condo itself was perfectly suited to our needs.

Absolutely great!

We ended up staying here for a few days on the Memorial Day holiday! It was a perfect location and it is true, the view is by far perfect! The overall cleanliness was great as well. We will definitely be back! Communication with the owners was also very easy and made it another great thing about the trip.

We really enjoyed the property

We enjoyed our stay at the Origin Resort everything was so beautiful….The only thing we didn’t like was being harassed by Wyndham timeshare people three times at the Pier and once when we went to eat at Sharkys…I know this doesn’t have anything to do with the home owners but it was very annoying…otherwise a wonderful stay
