Cozy cottage in a great neighborhood. We were worried about that, but we were far enough away from the party area of Panama Beach. Historic Panama City is far better for families or people who don't want to be around rowdy college kids or young adults. The home across the street had this amazing garden, that you can walk on sidewalk, to see every detail. The home we rented was right next to kind and respectful owners. They had the pool in their back yard, which is available anytime you text, call or plan ahead. They have cute pups that just want to be part of your family, so they need to stay inside. We were still early in the season, to truly enjoy it. But my teen daughter didn't complain about the cold water. This place was so convenient of location. St. Andrews bay was literally a few homes away. We rented a boat close by as well. Shell Island was only 10 minute boat ride. Restaurants and gift shops were close by. Inside had everything you needed for when you were ready to get ready for bed. Huge comfy bed, lots of recliners, large TV, and lots of room in kitchen. We never ran out of hot water from the shower, that felt great with the pressure. The owners were available when we had questions, and suggestions. But they also were respectful if you wanted privacy. You choose. Also glad we got to help fellow military veteran small business. Hope to visit again. You won't regret renting and visiting.
