Upon our arrival, i was notified that the unit was ready for early check-in as a courtesy. WONDERFUL. We quickly headed that way but were unable to get the the main gates of the community because they failed to enter our names in the system. After several attemts to call, text message and email, we got nowhere. The security had to call in to speed up that process.
Finally, after squaring that away, we were allowed to be let in the community to find our unit. Once we got there, we realized we had no code to get in through the doors. Again, we wnt through calling, texting emailing. Finally, after going tlthrough the required checkin process AGAIN, we were given the code.
Unit was clean and furnished well. However, there was only 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, 1 roll of napkins and 1 trash bag. Considering we were a family of 12 , we quickly went through that in 1 day. We went ahead and purchased our own for the duration of the stay (6 days)assuming it would take forever for someone to respond and get back to us.
Checkout was easy.
But, we were recently charged a fee for a "stained" shower towel. I could understand if maybe something was damaged like furniture or broked but considering that towels are essentially consumables, it was a little ridiculous to have been charged.
Please note that this unit will require extra fees to be able to use the private swimming pool and bbq which is part of their advertising description. We opted out of the $80/day fee.
