We are a family traveling with two kids, and unfortunately our stay was extremely uncomfortable from the moment we arrived. The room air conditioning was completely out of service, and what made the situation worse is that the staff already knew about the problem before we even checked in. Despite this, they still assigned us the room without informing us in advance. Traveling with kids requires basic comfort, and a functioning AC is not a luxury — it’s a necessity. Instead of trying to help, the team acted as if the problem was normal and expected us to just accept it. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and unwillingness to accommodate guests made this experience extremely frustrating. Overall, this stay fell far below expectations. Poor service, lack of responsibility, and zero customer care. I would not recommend Smiles to families or anyone expecting a comfortable and respectful hotel experience.

Staff were friendly and helpful a lot with questions . Room/sheets was pretty clean.. I’d suggest keeping that same effort with the bathroom, but it wasn’t that bad. I would stay again. Room it self was pretty larger than the standard 2 queen beds. Breakfast option for $15/pp was good enough when we needed a quick start.
