Great stay very clean and convenient
My main reason for choosing Avanti was because it was "walking distance to the convention center." It was over a half an hour walk which I do not consider "walking distance." 10-15 minutes would be more considered. If you are choosing a hotel for access to the Convention Center, look for a closer one. Otherwise, it was a good stay. Actual walking distance to restaurants (Friendly's right across the street) and a few shops.
If you want to go to Sea World, Universal, and Disney or just want to stay in your room this is not the hotel for you. The front desk staff made excuses when we addressed concerns. They also do not pick up their phone when you need help. The website information apparently doesn’t match the information given at the hotel. Also, despite being told a shuttle will get us we got stranded at Epcot. Housekeeping also left our door open. They also were testing smoke alarms told us when it would be done and ours kept ringing and they didn’t help us at first until we complained several times. They charge a resort fee for the shuttle and use of the pool and other stuff but we couldn’t really utilize the services that much because we were given faulty information. Also, our key didn’t work upon arrival to our room and we had to go back to get them to fix it and we were not the only ones the night we checked in who had keys that didn’t work.
We showed up and the lobby looked nice but were too scared to stay there. The rooms open to the outside, which reeked of marijuana, and our door couldn't close or lock. We demanded a cancellation and refund and left.
Front desk was quick and informative. Kitchen staff was attentive and friendly. Everyone seemed they worked as a team. Toilet in the hotel seemed a bit out of place, needed more caulking but worked fine.

This hotel has an awesome location, there are so many places and things to do near by. There are also lots of food options on-site and nearby. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. There were some minor cosmetic issues and the dehumidifier in the room was loud.
i didn't get a chance to try most of the features at this hotel because of the conference i was at. the bathrooms were extremely small and not pretty. the exercise room was old and terrible.
