Property was clean and newly refurbished in a clean bright palette. Beautiful view from room. Front desk and others were friendly and helpful. Didn't give 5 stars because there is no welcoming public space. Lobby dark and small. The other reason for 4 stars is that the “ resort fee” didn't include use of pool except in early morning. Afternoon charged $50 per person. Overall, good stay.

Nice but not a five star hotel

Nice hotel with a nice bar in a good location, but it is not a luxury five star hotel as noted on hotels.com. It’s a good quality 4 star hotel I would stay there again if the price is right.

Staff did not greet with a smile, terrible check in process, no visible concierge. While was room was nice, the digital lighting was horrible. Pressing all kinds of buttons and the lights would still not cooperate. Virgin is normally my choice for airlines and cruises but this hotel is not like the other virgin properties. I will not be back.

Do not stay here!

Terrible staff, terrible stay. a) check in took 20m at 2am. I was originally charged the incorrect amount b) person downstairs wasn’t very helpful when I was carrying many things - including helping with bags etc. c) the TV doesn’t work d) alarm went off for 3 hours with repeated announcements in the middle of the night for no reason
