We had a great stay at the Industrialist for 2 days before our cruise from Brooklyn. The accommodation is clean and well equipped and is good value for money. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The location is also excellent for subway access and 5th Avenue which is great for evening strolls.

Fantastic spot especially for a solo traveler! Close to the subway and some good food spots. Night life in the area was lively too. Only problem I had was the wooden floor had warped from water from the shower making it very difficult to open and close the bathroom door. Great place, great staff, great stay!

Perfect compact and chic room, awesome shower, nice bed, very clean, and great staff. Kind of hard to "get ready" in the bathroom (just lack of surface space and tiny sink), but other than that it was cool and convenient, great location if you're familiar with Bk and the city, great coffee spot right across the street. Spacious self-serve locker for your suitcase if you have to stow bags for a couple hours.

Industrialist is a boutique hotel that is well located in Brooklyn, near the Union St Subway station. Travelers should know that rooms are small, yet practical. I thought for the price, it was a good deal. The coffee shop across the street is very good, and within a mile radius you have restaurant options. As with all NYC hotels, walls are thin.
