Front of house staff was wonderful. They were very friendly and helpful. Property was fine. Nothing special. Restaurant attached was mediocre. Rooms were average. Lights in the room were set up oddly. We couldn't just turn one of the lights by the bed as they were on the same switch as a bright light up mirror over the desk, as well as the one over the windows beside the bed. Bathrooms were set up oddly too. The toilet paper holder was in a very odd spot in all of our rooms (we had 3), as it was attached to the counter and just slid on, with no way to secure it. Everyone kept knocking the toilet paper off the holder when using the bathroom counter to get ready. We had to keep searching for it as it would fly off and onto the floor and roll around. I've stayed in worse and I've stayed in better throughout NYC. The staff is what would get me to come back. Not the property.

Amazing hotel in a great location

We traveled as a family of 4 (2 kids and 2 adults) to NYC for the week and this hotel was such a great find! The rooms are very clean, pretty spacious, and the sofa bed was separated from the main bed allowing the kids their own space and TV. The included breakfast vouchers were amazing and the food was all to restaurant quality and presentation which was a very unexpected bonus! The staff were all friendly and helped with any queries. The location is perfect, between 5th and 6th Avenues and right next to the Empire State Building, with subway entrance about 5 mins walk away. Fully recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Manhattan!
