Awful experience

First of all, there is a terrifying 5 inch drop from the living room to the back bedroom & is not easily seen. In the first 10 minutes we were there, my mom, sister, daughter & niece all fell when walking into the back bedroom. My mom had to go the doctor because her fall was rather substantial. The step needs to be clearly labeled or something done because its not safe. The space on the rails for the stairs is too wide. My 2 year old niece who has a rather large head was able to stick her head through the openings which was absolutely terrifying. Finally, the management company has been awful. My sister accidentally left $600 of clothing in one of the closets. They noticed while driving home on 4/9. I reached out to Vacasa on 4/9, the day we checked out, regarding the clothing so it could be mailed to us at our expense. My sister even offered to drive back & grab it because the dress & other items were that important to her. Vacasa assured me that they would notify me as soon as they were found. I reached out to them every day from Tuesday to Friday and every day the following week. On 4/25, a supervisor finally told me that a housekeeper threw the clothing away which according to Vacasa was a direct violation of their policy. I was told to send receipts for the items & we would receive reimbursement from sup Lore. As of 5/6 sup carrie said the local manager has declined the refund. The issue was caused by the local mgr not checking the trouble ticket for 10 days.

Enjoyed it all

The place was beautiful, last night was the best. 15 deers came right up to us to feed them. There were 13 bucks, 1 doe and 1 fawn. The doe came up to my grandkids and let them feed and touched her. It was amazing

Great house! We really enjoyed our stay. We did have an issue with the refrigerator on our first day, but problem was resolved very fast! Communication is great with management! Great location!

Spacious house for a group!

We stayed here with my family of 9 total people for 3 nights. The house was clean when we arrived and looked just like the pictures. There was plenty of room for all of us to hang out and sleep, the kids especially loved the room with bunk beds! The only thing that I would say that was a little disappointing was the beds were not comfortable. We found the mattresses to be hard and very hot because there was only a plastic mattress cover and a fitted sheet on them. The upstairs got a little hot at times too. But the location and house itself were wonderful! We had a good stay while we were there.

Amazing home with a great price!!

This house was absolutely perfect for our family. Lots of room and amenities. The front porch area wqs great for the kids to play. They even were able to hand feed the deer 🦌 in the neighborhood. Will definitely be booking here again!!

Labor day weekend

The house was amazing my family enjoyed everything! The only issue we had was cleanliness. There was ants in the living room carpet, maybe the family before us ate in thd living room. Nothing a little vacuum didnt clean l. Which by the way it was provided. The lake was close by we enjoyed lake time house time kids did smores on ths fire pit outside, my brother cooked in the grill it was a mice get away weekend!

Great time!!

House was excellent for our group of 8. There was room for more as well. Everything we needed was supplied. We stayed for 2 nights. Upstairs did get hot and mattresses weren't super comfy but for the price and location, the house is well worth it!!

cute spacious house but.....

Although the house was cute and spacious we had ants in the bathrooms on the kitchen counters and in 2 beds, one of which was mine plus rolley pollies downstairs. The sink in the upstairs bathroom was clogged so it drained slowly. I texted the property manager whose card was on the table, he no longer worked there but he gave me the new persons number. She was rude because I texted her personal phone. The back yard needed to be mowed so we didn't get to spend anytime out there. 'This didn't ruin our time, we still had a good time and like I said before the house was nice and spacious.
