Wonderful getaway

We chose this lovely house for my birthday celebration and it was so very nice. The entire house is nicely furnished and quite comfortable. We spent most of our time enjoying the back porch. The location is quite walkable to nice restaurants and through historic neighborhoods. We would definitely book again.

Great Home for Our Weekend Stay

We were in town for the 3rd time participating in the Historical New Bern MS 100 Mile Ride. In previous years, we stayed outside New Bern; this year, we wanted to be close to town. I found the home on VRBO, and it fit us, four adults, perfectly. It is a charming older home with modern amenities and just a bike ride from Union Park. Our host, Patricia, was very responsive and accommodating. When we return, we will be sure to reserve this home again.

New Bern

Had a wonderful time in New Bern. The house was very cute and historic. I didn't realize the downstairs bathroom was situated in the kitchen area. There are pictures, but I think it should have been stated as well. It was manageable for a 2 day stay, but I wouldn't stay there if it was longer than that. The house was walking distance to everything which was great!

Great place in historic New Bern

My wife and I stayed here while we visited New Bern as a possible retirement spot. House was just perfect for us. We had brought a family member who needed a 1st floor bed/bath. Close enough to walk the entire town. Easy checkin. Will opt for this again.

Comfortable historic home

Step back in time in New Bern and stay in this comfortable historic home. We had toyed with staying at a historic B&B and then decided to go this route and have the privacy of the whole home to ourselves. Fun 1920s feel with two bedrooms. Lovely back porch for morning coffee. Walkable distance to most things or a quick 2 to 3 minute drive to the riverfront, Tryon Palace and shops/restaurants. All photos in listing are accurate. Communication with owner was easy and prompt.
