This is an older property, so I get that it's a bit run down. Our room was NOT clean. The cover on the bed was clean, but it was obviously there to cover up the dirty comforter and sheets. There was dirty shoe marks on all bedding, like it was in floor and stepped on. And the floor was the worst part of the room! It had not been swept, tons of sand and things laying around like tissue and mascara. Not only not swept but I'm guessing it's been a long while since it's been mopped dirty shoe prints everywhere. Toilet and sink was clean, but tub was not. Ac vent blew extreme hot air on the balcony so it was too hot to sit out and enjoy.

Small, yet perfect!

If you want your stay in MB to have "action", you have a small dog, want to be close to the strip, don't want to spend a huge fortune, looking for just a place to sleep, and not a roomy place because you are enjoying the beach, the pool with it's awesome DJ, or enjoying all the restaurants within walking distance, then this is perfect for you! ;-) This room was VERY small, but it had everything you need. HuGE bathroom, balcony, king bed, and extra large mini fridge. This room is perfect if you only want a place to sleep and shower, and are mostly interested in going out. View was fabulous, and every staff member we encountered was super sweet! This place was inexpensive, CLEAN and perfect location if you like action. Our room was quiet though.. Didn't hear anything but the air conditioner ;-).

Great stay

The only negatives were our neighbors smoking on the balcony so we couldn't sit out since we couldn't breathe...and the floors were so slippery we had to be careful we didn't fall. Not sure if it was the faux wood or the cleaner, but they always felt wet.

our stay

We had a great time, staff was friendly, room was like is showed and stated. They had movies for free you could get to take to your room. Had coffee bar downstairs. Beds were comfortable and we could bring our puppy!! We will be back!

Overall it was ok. We didn’t have hot water in the shower and the mini fridge was leaking all over the floor. Great view of the ocean though!

The room was not as clean as I would have expected. There was a couple pieces of garbage on bathroom & the balcony looked like it had not ever been swept off. The balcony had cheap plastic chairs & the little table was disqusting! It looked like someone had smoked and burned, etc. I did call housekeeping & they came in & did their thing. The table on the balcony was not replaced. Plus the view on the balcony is great if you look straight forward but if you look down you are seeing the roof of a part of the building & its disqusting. I did not use the balcony..which was a bummer because I like to set there & read. The staff at the front desk were super nice! The restaurant “Indigo” was awesome!! By the way I was there for 5 days & there was never a guy renting chairs or umbrellas. Of course that is not the responsibility of the resort but know that you will need them. I am not sure I would stay there again!

Nice room

Room looked just like photos. Staff was incredibly friendly. View from our specific room was amazing. Amenities were great. Location was good if you don’t mind the busy area. Close but not too close to the boardwalk.

Overall, place was clean, floors were sandy but that’s a little expected for a beach property. Staff was pretty attentive. Everything was easy going, no issues. I’d stay again!

Great place to stay for the price!

The hotel was very nice, staff was nice, balcony view was beautiful! It was a close trip to the pool and the beach and we got to bring our dog. I would recommend staying here!

Staff was very helpful. It was great having a Starbucks snack bar. Beautiful restaurant. Loved the balcony overlooking the ocean. Most of all, it was the most pet friendly place I've ever stayed. Great place to walk the dogs.

Needs improvements.

Went to buy stuff from vending machines took our money but got nothing people at the desk were helpful told us “I’m not sure what to do”. Our room had missing light bulbs and the floor were heavily goudged up from them draging furniture around it. The toilet was leaking all over the bathroom from the base. We took pictures of everything. They say no dog over 20lbs but 2 50+ lbs chocolate labs were there not the dogs fault but bark all morning because they were left alone in the room down the hall. We checked out a day early and lost money because the last three days we ere there all day and night till about 230am every two minutes there were doors slamming and it shakes the whole room. We loved myrtle beach and are planning another trip this summer but will not stay here again.

The views are superb. The rooms was clean and comfy. The property is older and shows its age but tou can see renovations are on going. Pet friendly to the max!
