We stayed at Island Oasis in Miramar Beach through Travel Life Vacations. Unfortunately, the property had several maintenance and management issues that significantly affected our stay.The biggest issue - the tankless water heater, which malfunctioned for the first five days of our vacation. We repeatedly had to reset the breaker to get hot water. Although the unit was eventually replaced, most of our stay was impacted. The downstairs master bathtub faucet produced only hot water, making it difficult to bathe our young grandchildren safely. We had to carry cold water from the kitchen to cool the tub.Other problems included:Pool heater not working one morning, making the pool unusable for our young grandchildren-issue resolved quicklyTorn canopy and broken chairs around the fire pit areaOutdoor furniture dirty enough that we had to clean it ourselves before using itBeverage refrigerator that constantly beeped because the door does not close properlyUpstairs arcade games not functioning properlyVery limited trash bags provided despite strict trash instructionsNo towel hooks in master bathroomNo pool towels provided-purchased our ownMOST DISAPPOINTING WAS THE LACK OF COMMUNICATION FROM MANAGEMENT. Multiple service visits occurred, but we consistently had to reach out ourselves for updates. The home has potential but for the premium price paid, THE PROPERTY WAS NOT MAINTAINED OR MANAGED TO THE LEVEL WE EXPECTED.
