They do not advise when you are booking that the hotel is under reconstruction, so there are dirty uncarpeted floors; the hotel rooms smell like car air freshener; in our room, the toilet was dingy/dirty, the shower tub was extremely slippery and the hot water kept completely cutting out in the shower...then it would erratically come back scalding hot. I notified the front desk person before we checked out about the shower and warned her an elderly person who could not move quickly to get out of the way could be severely scalded. She said she would send a repair person to check it after we checked out. No apology or offer to make good on this issue. We have had positive stays there in the past, but this was definitely not one of them.
