We had such a marvelous time celebrating Thanksgiving together - myself and my two sons, daughter-in-laws and fives grandchildren ages six and under! I played air hockey with my oldest granddaughter, and she beat the Sox off of me, always saying “YA” when she hit the hockey stick! I taught her how to play cards for her first time experience in playing cards at all- and she picked up on the unbridles really quickly and skunked me on that too!! We enjoyed the floor plan so much as each family has different bedtime and napping schedules, and there was always something fun to do! I mostly enjoyed the Woodstock and the warm chitter chatter between everyone, and the level of joy and love in my grandchildren to be together -all of us, was priceless!! We love the view, and all of the accommodations!! We hope to return next Thanksgiving or the next!! Thank you so very much!

Nice setting. Clean. A little outdated. Limited lighting in kitchen and dining area. Lots if cookware abd dishes Boat dock was good. Overall was nice place fir a few guys and a fishing boat

It’s a lovely place. With Great Lake front area. The house was well supplied with kitchen things. The game room was a highlight!Would be nice to have a fireplace but the fire pit was great. We would definitely come back,

Perfect!

It was such a relaxing week! The waterfront access was amazing! The home was very clean and had all the amenities we needed to have a wonderful family getaway. Being that it was animal friendly had me nervous, but the home was spotless. Comfortable beds and furnishings. The hangout in the garage was very nice as well. Will definitely be booking again!

Great spot for friends

Very peaceful lakehouse spot with lots of amenities and room to sleep and spend time together. Great game room. Check-in was tough (code didn't work, called 5 different phone numbers before getting to someone, backup code didn't work, first lockbox didn't have a key, second lockbox key didn't go to the front door). A lot of things worked just barely well enough (pool table is sturdy and the felt is great but the pockets are all broken, some of the lights didn't work). It really is a good spot for non-fussy friends to spend a long weekend.

Beautiful property but needs TLC

The property is great but the house needs attention (loose door knobs, doors that don’t shut, terrible scratched Teflon pans, outdoor furniture that should probably be retired, a game room with very worn games). We still had a great weekend and definitely enjoyed sitting on the deck and being on the water.

Relaxing getaway

This was a great house right on the lake. We enjoyed spending time down by the water and saw several birds we've never seen before. The property managers were responsive to any issues we had. We definitely recommend this property for a nice relaxing getaway.

This is a great lake house - great size, excellent dock, wonderful decks. The house needs some basic maintenance and improvements. The lighting was pretty bad. The kitchen lacked silverware and was rather disorderly. The bath and kitchen towels were very worn and in poor condition. The game room was fun but had many broken games. We have fun and it was beautiful on the lake.

Great location

Overall we had a great stay. The house is nice and in decent condition, and the location on the lake could not be better. We enjoyed sitting on the deck with our coffee and taking the kayaks out each day. Plenty of space to relax and spread out. The kitchen could use a few more pots/pans and silverware, not much to cook with.The skylight leaked every time it rained so we had a puddle of water in the kitchen each morning.They also could clean the glass does coming into the house and out onto the decks as it didn’t seem those had been cleaned in months.

WORST NIGHTMARE “VACATION”

I would be absolutely embarrassed if I owned this property and rented out to people! Maintenance was in the house for the first 3 days and never fixed anything and the only time they told us they were coming was day 1 and didn’t announce what the problem was. Issues during entire or some of stay: dishwasher broken, kitchen sink didn’t drain and disposal didn’t work, washer/dryer didn’t work, locks on doors broken, lights didn’t work, no hand soap, no sponge or dish soap to wash dishes, pilot light on grill and no lighter, smelled like sewage outside, smoke detector randomly went off at all hours, rusty nails popping from steps, no plug for tub, master bed was so terrible I had to sleep on couch, no cleaning supplies and so much more. We asked for a refund to leave early and were going to be completely out of luck and just stayed and left early on own. Trying to talk to Vacasa or management in general was another nightmare. NEVER BOOK HERE!

PERFECT Family get away

Picture sitting around a firepit watching your children jump off the dock into a lake, swinging on a hammock, or kayaking yourself down a huge lake. A huge game room to relaxing in the AC during the hotest points of the day, marshmallows around a camp fire or taking a 2 mile away day trip to a local spot for cider tasting, which is kidand pet friendly. This place was a prefect get away for me and my large family. My husband, myself, my sister-in-law and 7 children had a blast and a not easily forgoten vacation.

Spring Break

Overall we loved this property. We travel from ct annually to visit friends in the area and always stay on lake anna. This was our favorite property so far. House was huge and the price point was perfect. You are one mile from food lion and dollar general. I've never stayed that close! Two decks to choose from for enjoying morning coffee. Neighbors were sparse so noise was non existent. There was only one functional pan to cook with and no foil/saran wrap/containers/condiments so we went to dollar general and bought our own. Ice maker worked without issue. Communication with vacasa was awesome- i've never used them before but seemed to have a live person who responded immediately and helped answer our questions. Families with children and/or dogs : the stairs from the kitchen downstairs are extremely steep and narrow. We used a chair to block off the top but a small gate would have been preferred. I would absolutely rent this property again :-)

Vacasa stay

When we arrived to the property the code given was not working we called Vacasa and they tried to reset it and still didn’t work. We were told there was a lockbox on the property but no one knew where it was located. We were then told a ticket would be placed so a manager could help and they would call me back but could not give me a time frame on when I would receive a phone call. 20 minutes later we called again and spoke with Susan who was AMAZING!!! She was able to reset the code and we were able to get in. Once we got in we realized the house was not cleaned before we came, none of the beds were made the bathrooms were a mess, dishes had grease on them. we had to wash all sheets and put them on the bed. After everything was done the stay was great everything was as described. Overall it was a good stay.

Great location

Right on the lake, easy access to lake from home and from dock. House was clean and had all we needed . The game room definitely needs a dehumidifier in it, it smells like it’s at the water. Lot of games even if you don’t want to hang in there. Great area for walking the dog as well. Location is excellent near restaurants and breweries. Quiet location just what I was looking for.

Great location!

Loved the location for a relaxed lake front visit. Would book again at this location. Issues we had were minor and most were not related to the property itself and in the grand scheme did not adversely impact the great time we had. ( code key not working upon arrival, 45 min wait to resolve with management company) / air conditioning issue but fixed within 2.5 hours/ power outage but fixed within 3 hours. ) ( upstairs shower slow drains so water backs up when taking shower, inner shower curtain could use a little more love, game room was a great concept but not everything was working or in a functioning capacity ( pool table leans to the right so all balls tend right when attempting to play. There are sooooooo many game options though this was very minor for us.) As I said we enjoyed this house and location and would book again.
