Cabin exactly as described and pictured. Close to all attractions but felt private. It was December so not many other guests. The only negative was the steps to the loft. My husband has back issues so navigating them was a small challenge for him. The bed was extremely comfortable. I'd definitely stay again in the summer or fall to enjoy the outdoors. Communication with the owner was excellent.

The cabin was amazing. We enjoy every min of our stay. The little snacks and drinks was very thoughtful of you. Every where we wanted to visit was right near by. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch relaxing. We will be back!!

Noisy

The property itself is well maintained. However, they need a new housekeeper....Upon entering our front porch, it was filthy from 2 birds nests. The microwave was filthy. I had to clean it before using it. The back porch area was dirty. I pulled a dirty spatula out of the drawer. I washed it also before returning it to the drawer. In the 30 years that we've been going to Holmes, this is the first time EVER that I was told to strip my bed before checking out. I titled my stay, "Noisy", because the traffic is horrible! Semi's using their jakebrake first thing in the morning is not a relaxing way to start your day. I was under the impression it was a quiet little back road. There's more, but I'll stop there. I'm sure you get the picture. Will I stay there again?.... Probably not.

Perfect mini vacation

The stay was perfect. The fishing in the pond was absolutely terrific. Caught multiple fishes and even a snapping turtle.

Weekend Getaway

My husband and I had a fantastic time. We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was just as advertised, neat and clean. Our hosts provided firewood and fishing gear to use. The cabin is pet-friendly. The hosts also had several games to play and offered complimentary snacks, which was a pleasant surprise. We will definitely stay again in the future. It was a wonderful getaway and the perfect way to enjoy the local area.

overall nice on a beautiful property

The Property is very nice with beautiful scenery and it was clean. The only complaints that I have is that they had multiple scented plug in's throughout the cabin that were very over powering and made me sick, and it is very close to a highly traveled road and you can here the traffic at all hours. Note it is above another unit, you can hear everything that they are doing.

Lily's loft cabin review

We had a nice time shopping in the area. We go to this area about every other year in January to avoid crowds and heavy traffic. It's a nice getaway. The cabin was very charming and clean. Next time we might opt for Cubby 's cove cause steps to loft were a challenge for me.
