Blue McCall Ranch

Great property! Totally renovated, ample space for a couple or multiple couples or a family. Hot Tub was perfect after McCall received several feet of snow that week! Game / TV room was great to unwind and the fireplace was cozy to sit and drink coffee in the morning. Large fully stocked kitchen. Perfect spot for a long McCall Weekend!

DO NOT RENT FROM VACASA!

DO NOT rent anything that is managed by a VACASA Management company. The night of our arrival the keypad to the house did not work. We tried calling and texting our contact person/number several times and no one answered or helped us! We had to check into a local hotel. Not only did VACASA not fully reimburse us for that night but they DID NOT do the right thing and pay our hotel expenses either. Regardless of time arrived or even if it is a holiday someone should be ON CALL at all times. Our family was left stranded outside of a home late at night with no way to enter. We fully paid the rent, flew across several states, drove in 2 hours from airport, arrived in the freezing cold and dark, unable to get in and having to find a hotel to stay in was very disappointing! VACASA was very hard to contact and get through to after the trip to dispute the situation. Also a comment was made in the reviews several weeks to our arrival about the outdoor fire pit not working. You would think they would have fixed it but it did not work! We have had a VRBO rental home ourselves for 6+ years and I would be doing everything possible to make my guests comfortable and this management group does not care about its guests or making things right! I’m sure if the owner was aware of this situation on their rental property and guest they would be disappointed as well and making things right! Bad business on VACASA’s part. We will not be renting any VACASA managed properties in the future.

just perfect

We were attending a wedding in McCall and the Blue Roost proved to be the perfect spot for us. The house is fresh and clean and very comfortable. Many people use the word "cute" to describe it which is accurate. Fresh and bright and accommodating. Quiet neighborhood just a few minutes drive to town. I would recommend highly.

Cute, clean and comfortable

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is in a great location. Really easy access to the bike path that goes all over town. It was very clean, and we felt comfortable lounging and relaxing in the house. The only bummer we had here was that the outdoor fire pit was out of propane, so we weren’t able to use it for the s’mores we had planned. We contacted the property management company, but it wasn’t fixed during our stay. Other than that everything was great!

Girls trip

The trip was great, the house is in a very quiet part of town and cozy. Prefect for a relaxing getaway. Only issue was the fire alarm going off and trying to get ahold of someone to fix it, we ended up having to call the fire department at 1 am, thankful it’s a small town and they were very friendly and helpful.

Cleaning crew needs to do a better job! Did not clean under anything and dirty sock, that had clearly been there for sometime as it was very dusty, left under bathroom cabinet. Dirty under coffee table and beds

Lovely, clean, well stocked home in great location

Easy to find and check. Beautifully clean property with everything we needed in the kitchen as well to make our from-scratch meals. Spacious and updated. Nice neighborhood. Great communication from host. Hot tub was not as clean as we hoped, and when we shared that feedback we received quick communication back and someone was over within hours and completely addressed the problem. Excellent care which left me confident any problems we ever encountered would be handled quickly and with care. Would definitely recommend this place and Vacasa managed homes. Hope to stay again next winter for good access to Brundage and skiing!

Beautiful, clean home!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Blue Roost, the home was beautiful and very clean. The hot tub was quite inviting after a day on the slopes too! Everything was as expected and so close to town, but still the mountain feel with all the evergreens around the home. Very nice stay and will plan to book this home again for sure!

Beautiful, clean and comfortable

We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Roost. It was clean, beautiful and had all the comforts of home. It was the perfect place to come back to after skiing, hot springs and Winter Carnival activities. We enjoyed cooking in the well appointed kitchen and relaxing in the hot tub and spa like bathroom. We have already recommended this property to friends and family for their upcoming trips to the area. We will return to the lovely Blue Roost.

Great Getaway Weekend

The Blue Roost was a great place to stay. Very clean and tastefully decorated to feel like home away from home. Convenient location not to far away from downtown McCall and Ponderosa State Park!

Cozy house tucked in the trees

This property was a perfect family weekend getaway. Very clean on arrival and stocked with the necessities. Had a great time sitting by the fireplace and watching the deer wander up to the front porch.
