Please note: we are a young American couple who has traveled to the Caribbean multiple times, and stayed in various all-inclusive resorts in that area. This is a very different experience. Pros: grounds were beautiful. Rooms were extremely nice and spacious. We were in a suite on the 8th floor with a wonderful view. The bathroom is very large with a granite vanity. The bar and wait staff were extremely attentive. Everyone was very nice. The pool area is clean, and there are more than enough chairs to accommodate anyone who wishes to lay out in that area. There is no private beach, however, it is a very short walk (less than 5 minutes) and is a nice beach. You are also a short bus ride from two other beaches. The weather was fantastic. It was 70-73 degrees in Mid-April, which felt about 10 degrees hotter. The food is better than the Caribbean experiences. In all, the hotel was clean and well maintained. They do provide beach towels in the room, but it's 1.80 euro each time for an ecological tax. We managed to use the same towels, which was not an issue. Cons: A young, 20-something American (or really any nationality) couple does not fit into the clientele of this resort. The median age was 65. Due to this, the food times, drink times, and entertainment catered to the older crowd. Aforementioned, there is no private beach. No music was played by the pool during the day.
