Absolutely perfect!

Cannot say enough about this cabin. It’s beautiful, clean, fully stocked with anything we could have possibly needed. The emote setting is peaceful. Owner was quick to respond to our questions. We would love to stay again.

Five Star Experience

Excellent overall experience for our family Thanksgiving at the Cabin. The property provides the classic “north woods” feel and is serene. This place was very clean, tidy, and well kept. It doesn’t have the short term rental feel. It’s like someone just offered up their family home for a long weekend - and we appreciated that. Arik was very responsive as a host and provided support when needed. We were prepared upon arrival - but I’d recommend other guests to make sure you bring your own firewood and to take advantage of both the indoor and outdoor fire options. Would love to come back and enjoy this space some more.

It's impossible not to relax here

To find this type of quietness in Michigan, you would typically have to travel to some remote place in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. But this is just a short distance to some of the best beaches and state parks on Michigan's western shoreline. Hats off to Aric & Viv. This cabin is perfect. We loved every minute of the time we spent there. There are many great places to grab a bite in Lake City. The Tap House, and the Rustic Hog BBQ will not disappoint. Top it off with a Tasty Treat ice cream desert and your taste buds will thank you! We are already discussing returning next summer, if not sooner! Dale & Tina.

Perfect location for ORV riding

Fantastic place to stay for 6 people. Very clean and comfortable. Outdoor fireplace was awesome. Trailhead 5 minutes away. Bring extra fuel as no gas stations within riding distance.

Wonderful location, wonderful stay!

This is a gem of northern Michigan - the house and everything in it is perfect (with some fun surprises). The location was great, though the neighbors don’t seem to be thrilled that the rental is here based on the signage at the property edge. That doesn’t take anything at all away from what is a perfect spot - we went skiing at Caberfae Peaks and loved this as the base of our weekend of connecting for laughter with the family. The amenities in the kitchen are great, though it would be good to encourage folks to use the griddle on the stove for eggs, etc, as the cookware provided is not non stick. Once we switched to the built in griddle, everything was just right. While we were there, temps were in the teens - a high of 25 with most of the day in the teens. We were completely comfortable - the house is cozy and warm throughout, really well done!! We hope to return for more time in the future!

Great Escape

This is the perfect getaway spot. Very nice home that is off the beaten path, quiet and secluded, beautiful outdoor scenery, and stocked with just about you can think of. Exactly as described and so much more. Definitely a place I'd go back to and recommend to others.

Hidden Gem!

By far the most beautiful cabin we have ever stayed at! High end everything! Fully equipped with comfortable beds! The property was stunning! Our pups loved walking the property! Best part was the deck with the fireplace! My husband and I wanted to live there! We truly enjoyed our stay and will be back!
