Rough start with check in - Place wasn't ready
My family drove 12 hours from Ohio - upon arrival we planned to check in right at 4p but couldn't get a hold of the owner through VRBO. After being exhausted from the drive, and another few hours went by we finally were able to get a hold of the owner, but the condo wasn't ready for us. Owner thought we were checking in on the 6th but reservation was made for the 5th. We gained access to the condo, dirty from the previous vacationers. We made the best of it, bought cleaning products and detergent so we could wash sheets and towels. The owner was able to get the cleaners there the following day in the afternoon. Not the greatest experience. The photos are accurate, and the location is great, the condo is very nice!! Just wish there was better communication with the owner. I had his phone number, we also received a parking notice that we would be towed, after calling the guard house we were told, we needed a visitor pass, no communication about that during the booking process, but we figured it out. I texted the owner but never received a response. The Blue Water Grill has amazing food and the pool was very nice, loved watching the boats coming/going in the marina,great area for sure!!
