We had a great stay here!! We were on the lake front and could see the Mackinac Bridge from our balcony. The room was much bigger than expected. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were both pleasant and helpful. Close to EVERYTHING!! We didn't have to go far off the interstate to get there. We were super close to Arnold's Ferry that takes you to Mackinac Island, which were were able to purchase tickets for at the hotel. Shopping and food (and FUDGE!!) were just down the street. We hope to stay here again on our next visit!!

The front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating by making sure the 2 rooms booked were next to each other. It would have been nice to have coffee available in the lobby for us early risers but the beach view and sunrise were absolutely amazing!

Loved being on the beach, opening the window and hearing the waves. Loved having the bathroom separating the 2 beds, so there is some privacy. Having laundry facilities was nice although I did not use them. Hotel offered discounts on the ferries, butterfly experience on Mackinaw Island, dining and other events. There was also a shuttle service to and from the ferry.

The room was a little musty smelling in areas. I should have said sometging but our view was worth it. The price was great and I would stay there again. The cleaning staff was exceptionally polite and hard working.

The property is run down and the beach while pretty you can’t go in the water due to the bird poop. The entire hotel is out dated and in need of maintenance. It was disappointing that the pool isn’t open until 10 am. The water pressure in the shower was drizzle and only one person got hot water.

This hotel was trying to cover up some smell with the strongest air freshener smell!! I couldn’t sleep without opening the window and putting a bag of their coffee beans in front of a fan to neutralize the air. The location is great. The smell of the entire facility as awful.
