Everything was just as promised - lovely 4-BR townhome with wonderful lake views. An added plus if you have a boat is it's right by the marina. Everything was new, in great shape and worked well, a very comfortable place and it's close to Food Lion/ Watersview as well. Highly recommended!

Beautiful townhouse conveniently located

We had a wonderful weekend with our adult children and grandchild. The layout of the town house was perfect for our family. There was plenty of space to for family time and quiet time. The kitchen was well equipped. The owners were responsive to our questions and a very positive.

Lakeside Magnificence

This was my family’s second stay at The Lookout. The owners are friendly and cooperative. They make the check-in process easy, and they provide a thorough guide to their exquisite vacation home at the lake. My family will hopefully be sharing this home for our weekend at the lake each year.

If you’re looking for a perfect lake getaway then look no further! This was our second stay at The Lookout since we loved our first stay so much! Place is clean, comfy, and convenient. Hosts are amazing, very communicative, and always around if you need them.

Week at the lake

We just stayed at the Lookout for a week with family! It was perfect! The home is new and very clean and well appointed! It’s conveniently located to everything in the area and hosts were extremely hospitable and helpful. If I head to Lake Gaston in the future this will be my go to rental.

Tranquil Stay

The Lookout is a beautiful lakefront townhome that is extremely clean, beautifully decorated, spacious, and peaceful with everything a family would need for a short vacation stay. The owners, Gretchen and Jason, were professionals who responded timely to my inquiries. I was born and raised in the Lake Gaston area, and moved away 43 years ago, but the Lookout would entice me to move back. It is a wonderful vacation home with so many amenities for a large family to enjoy. I could not get my family out of the basement game room. The Vrbo photos do not do it justice. It is absolutely breathtaking with beautiful views from all balconies and the patio. Unforgettable family memories were made during our stay. It would have been great if check-in was a little earlier than 4:00pm.

The Lookout is Amazing!

This property is perfect for a relaxing Lake Gaston vacation. The home is very well maintained, from decor to functionality, and it made for a fantastic getaway. The property managers are detailed with check-in procedures and other instructions for your stay. I highly recommend this home for your vacation.

Nice Location

Convenient location near a marina. Nice privacy in the back of the property for enjoying the deck and patio. Owners are very responsive to questions and inquiries. House is nicely decorated with a fully stocked kitchen.

Great townhome and location

We had a great time at “The Outlook. Nicely decorated, equipped , clean and new townhome just a short walk to The Pointe Restaurant. Easy boat launch directly across from the boat slip. Celebrated my wife’s 60th birthday and watched the fireworks from the Eaton ferry bridge! Made many great memories with family and friends during our week at lake Gaston. Highly recommend “The Outlook”.

Awesome Rental with great view of the Lake

Beautiful property and great view of the lake. This proper is less than 5 min. to Waterview Restaurant and the Pointe at Lake Gaston. We would not stay anywhere else ever again. Quiet neighborhood to relax and unwind!

Great place for one family, two small families, or small group

Nice new townhouse. Well equipped and organized. You can even walk to Eaton Ferry Marina, AF Wake/LakeGastonRentals-to rent jet skis, boats, and take lessons. There aren't a lot of dining options, so it's very useful to have a 5 min drive to Food Lion. Owners are very responsive. Very useful that the owners have put pictures in each cabinet so you know where to put items after you're done.

Roomy and well-appointed

House was exactly as described. Very well-appointed kitchen for those that like cooking at home. Very good communication from the owners and lots of TVs and good Wifi if you're into that. Everything in the house was in good shape, too. No rickety or dirty furniture. The property is a short walk from the Pointe restaurant and also a very short walk to AF Wake, where we were able to rent kayaks and paddle them up to the back door of the townhouse. You could also walk to rent pontoon boats or jet-skis if you wanted.

Lakeside Lookout

This property is very nicely equipped and comfortable, perfect for a weekend getaway at Lake Gaston! We enjoyed our stay and the hosts were very easy to communicate with. This is a great location near Food Lion and the 903 bridge! We will hopefully be back to stay again!
