This is an amazing property. The home is beautiful and sits on a quiet cove just off the main lake. The amenities were plentiful, including a new outdoor pool that we thoroughly enjoyed, games, floats, water toys and a large dock that easily accommodated our boat. The location is perfect - near restaurants and grocery stores. The host, Jenn, could not have been better. She was wonderful to work with, and we would highly recommend this home!!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this property. We spent most of our time hanging out on the large dock and in the lake. The home is located on a great cove with tons of room for water sports, floating and swimming. It’s also centrally located near a few restaurants and it’s about a 15 minute drive to the grocery store. We loved having the fridge on the dock so we could store drinks and snacks so we didn’t have to trek back and forth to the house. Having the boat slips open to dock our boat was super helpful so we didn’t have to worry about our boat getting bumped around if it were just tied up. The house was spacious and well equipped with all the necessities of home. Jenn, the owner, was easy to work with if we had anything come up. My whole family enjoyed our week at Lake Gaston and would recommend this location!

Awesome place

Jenn was a fantastic host and was always there for us if we needed anything. The new master addition is lovely, the views are great and we can’t wait to go back upon completion of the inground swimming pool! No complaints here. We hope to stay here again in the very near future! Thanks Jenn Joe

Wonderful Weekend

Our two families had an amazing stay here. The hosts were very responsive to our questions about the property and very accommodating. The property is updated with modern appliances, kitchen was fully stocked and both kids and adults had a fabulous time.

Lake Paradise!

This property is at the top of our best vacations ever list. The two floor living was perfect for our two families of four. The home was loaded with all the cooking and hanging out by the lake amenities you could imagine. Perfect property to relax and swim in a quieter finger just off the main lake but still have access to everything within a 5 mile drive or quick boat ride. The dock was perfect for swimming and tying the boat up for the week. It was awesome the owners allowed use of their wakeboard and kneeboard; our teens and tweens learned watersports for the first time. Our pups also loved having the shallow lake/beach entrance on the property to wade and swim around. Oh and the new, huge hot tub was a hit amongst the kids and adults. Can’t say anything more than the place is perfect for a family or two family vacay at Lake Gaston!

A fantastic summer getaway

This was a fantastic find on Lake Gaston. There was plenty of room for the six of us. We made use of the kayaks, paddle board and large float. And we all had a great time! Plenty of dishes and silverware! Only thing I’d note is the Tiki Bar area needed some cleaning. Fridge there (which was great to have) was pretty dirty.

A week end at the Lake

Staying at the Lake Side Story house was a great experience. The house was welcoming and spectacularly clean. We highly recommend this home for a stay at the lake. Thank you to the host for communicating with us throughout the process.

Excellent Weekend Getaway!!

Wonderful hosts, communication was prompt and accurate. House was clean as a whistle. Every inside like new. The deck has a great view of the lake. Quiet neighborhood. Flat backyard with easy access to dock and amazing boathouse with shaded bar and seating area. Water off the dock is clean and is deep enough for swimming. Gentle slope to the shore so you could walk right in. Overall 5 stars. We definitely plan to return in the future.
