Nice room, great view. Host was polite and friendly. A couple of bumps along the way - key was not in the lockbox when we arrived and the cleaner showed up the day before we left. She corrected the issues as quickly as she could, and offered us a free day on our next stay to make up for the problems.

The overall space was cute and clean. There is black mold in one of the windows. The air vents and fan were dirty. The new carpet and flooring was great.

It was a perfect weekend getaway with the perfect place to stay for our needs! We had our 12yr old boy with us and he slept on the single hide-a-chair. Other family stayed in two separate rooms and all were very happy with the outcome. Gorgeous view, steps from the sandy beach where you can literally walk for miles.We walked, played football, ran, had a bonfire and went into town. Even had a short nap listening to the waves. Host responded to each 'touristy' question I had and were very accommodating. Kitchen was well equipped for anything you want to make but you can't beat Kyllo's right next door for amazing food.

The apartment was clean and comfortable. It's central location is a plus. The ocean view was great. My only complaint would be that a couple of the thermal pane windows had broken seals that fogged up some of the view.

Almost the perfect place. The windows have leaked and that distorts the view a little bit and the fan in the place is too small to move the air around. Everything else is a 10/10. Won't stop us from going back!

Great location at the Sea Gypsy with an excellent view of the D River and the ocean. The room is a little outdated and run down. Beds not comfortable. But the owner was kind and mesaged us befpre and after out stay. Theres a couple notebooks to sign in as a guest. My 10 year old son loved the room and wanted tonsign the guestbook so bad. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay. It was a chance to rest and do nothing but enjoy the scenery and the tides of the ocean and of life. I turned 75 during our stay. The bed was comfortable and we slept late. That said, the condo is a bit tired…I’m sure it gets abundant use. Some of the furniture needs maintenance (we left a note to that effect). The audio system is old and the organization of the TV channels were hard to figure out—we are not techies! There was mention about a book was that gave instruction about the use of systems in the condo but was not to be found. Altogether we enjoyed the ambiance and thank the host, Patti for her support and making Sea Horse Suite available to us.

The room was listed as a one bedroom, but was, in fact, a studio. I understand that new carpet and flooring have been installed, but the place was dirty. Stains that appeared to be old blood stains on the bedspread and a bed pillow were gross. The baseboards were filthy. The freezer needed to be defrosted and was barely usable. One of the windows was without a screen, and they all need to be replaced. The fan looked like it had black fur on the edges. The closet door was off its tracks. Cobwebs were present from the "mantle" to the wall. My sister came for one night since it "sleeps 3," but the pullout had no sheet available, and the mattress had to be pulled onto the floor to be usable. Luckily, there was a blanket she could roll up in. I felt like I was constantly needing to message the property manager so we wouldn't get charged for damages that were there before. She was very prompt in her responses. We were amazed at all of the "great stay" messages in the guest book. Maybe they didn’t want to get charged either and left it to the next guy? With no onsite manager, people felt free to smoke about the property, which came in the one open window.The good: From a standing position, you could see the beach. The views truly were spectacular! Proximity to the beach and a nice restaurant were appreciated. The direct access down the stairs on the beach side of the patio was great. Nice to see Sea Gypsy embossed into the retaining wall for identification. Plenty of parking!

Mother & Daughter beach get away

We loved our stay, the view was spectacular, and we kept our windows opened the whole time to hear the sounds and feel the sea breeze. I would definitely book another my next trip here for sure!

We really enjoy the ease access to the beach, the sounds of the waves from our bed it’s was amazing. We as a small family this place fits perfect, and everything so closed comes more better.

Not what we expected but still good

We didn't realize this was basically a studio/hotel room. It's a small unit in a much larger complex, called the Sea Gypsy. We appreciated the beautiful views from the large windows. The flooring needed to be replaced but we were warned of that before our stay and chose to go anyways. We had a good trip but wouldn't stay here again due to it being overpriced for what we got.

Super cute condo!

Loved our stay! We had a perfect beach weekend at this adorable oceanfront condo! The place was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The view of the ocean from the window was absolutely stunning—sunrises with coffee were a dream. The location is close to great restaurants and shops. Working with the owner was a breeze—communication was quick and easy, and they made sure everything was ready for our stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Sea Gypsy Condo

Patty was excellent. She communicated with me and was so kind. The unit was extremely clean. And I have never stayed anywhere before where I could take five steps from my patio, walk down a few stairs and be on the beach. Excellent location.

Very disappointed in condition of condo

The carpet was covered with stained brown spots, needed shampooed or replaced by owner. Ceiling fan was was so filthy, it was black on the edges of the blades. Garbage disposal was full of food, wouldn't work and sink didn't drain. My husband managed to reset the disposal so it would work. However, it took about 15 minutes to get hot water in the faucet. We couldn't use the freezer in the frig because it was so thick with ice buildup. The wooden slats on the floor would pop up when we walked on them and the nails would catch on our socks. One of the windows was missing a screen, and since we were on the 2nd floor, it would have been easy to accidently fall out onto the sidewalk below. the bathroom was the only nice thing about this condo. The water pressure in the shower was good. We left a day early. Just couldn't stay the whole time. I'm not a complainer, but this condo was just too bad. Also, the bed linens were cheap and didn't fit the bed properly. All of the pillows were difference the the pillowcases wouldn't stay on them. Since we arrived late on Saturday, DEc. 28, we stayed. Not sure how I feel about vrbo quality now.

Floors coming apart, stains on carpet, mold in windows, stains on bedding, water doesn’t drain. Worst place I’ve ever stayed in…. If it weren’t for other nice Vrbo places I’ve used, I would not use Vrbo again

Comfortable, great location on beach, and wonderful view

We totally enjoyed our stay, loved watching the birds (especially the pelicans), and much appreciated having a corner unit with windows that gave us a panoramic view! Of the local attractions our favorites were Boiler Bay (near the Whale Watching Center in Depoe Bay) and the Siletz Bay 1-mile nature trail (go 5.8 miles south from the Sea Gypsy, then take poorly marked left turn opposite the Key Place turnoff).
